Sorry to say it, but I was being extremely strict about my diet, and I broke

out into horrible Candida infections in my mouth that lasted for six months.

I figured out that it was from the sorbitol and the mannitol in one of my

sublingual vitamins.

So for me, definitely bad. What do people think about Splenda? There is

Splenda sweetened chocolate, maybe it's better.

Oh, it made me sick. Face broke out, exhaustion set in... Could just be me.

Did read when researching it after this that it can still activate the

candida and so to have it in small quantities... I didn't. =)

Meats are only out if they are not organic. Buy organic, and you're ok.

Same with shellfish. Grains can be eaten in moderation. Most people say

fruit is out, but I'm eating fruit. I don't know why teas are out (except

Pau D'Arco and Black Walnut are acceptable), but I'm keeping my tea, too. If

I have to give up coffee, I'm keeping tea. I'll see how it goes.

Meats are out, shellfish - out, fruits no good,

grains..forget! So I sit here starving and sip my

tea.....this is out too? No herbal teas allowed, only

" traditional medicinal herbs. " So what is the

difference? I bought Pau D'arco, Yellow Dock, and

Dandilion tea (bags) just the other day....so do I

dump these? How about bugs?? Can I maybe eat those?

Anything that ends with -ose is a sugar and feeds yeast. I don't know if

sorbitol does or not. Someone once said you can experiment with foods by

putting them in yeast and seeing if the yeast expands or reacts. Does anyone

know if this really works and how to do it?

Because the skin tests only show visible signs of allergies. ie; it turns

red, etc. It doesn't show other allergy symptoms like sinus problems,

stomach upset, etc.

It's not very efficient for food allergies, I guess.
