I have been taking Nizoral for about 6 weeks and doing the really strict anti-yeast diet and for the past week, I have felt absolutely horrible! The brain fog had improved after starting the diet but now it's WORSE THAN EVER!!!!!!!! Does anyone know what could be going on? I'm am getting really frustrated and I feel like this demon is defeating me. My urge to continue to fight is lessening and lessening. I want to get well, but, GOSH! This is very discouraging. Any suggestions? Please help. I am sooooooo miserable and I have an extremely active one year old to care for................... Guest guest
It sounds like candida die-off to me. I'm with you, it's very surprising and I don't know what else it could be. When Candida starts to die, it fights back. Sometimes this is called the Herximer (sp? I am Park dictating from Barb) reaction. I guess I would suggest Mint Tea (better make it non-caffiene, much as you'd like it otherwise), and maybe Emergen-C, a fizzy vitamin C drink powder one adds to water and gets from health food stores or sometimes food co-ops and maybe really fancy grocery stores, these days... --Barb >From: bearday33@... >Reply-candidiasis >candidiasis >Subject: Extremely terrible brain fog >Date: Tue, 15 May 2001 01:41:25 -0000 > > >Hi all. Guest guest
taking nizoral can be good - but again using this prescription will not help you with the putrefying waste sitting in your colon. You MUST clean out the colon if you want to completely rid yourself of your candida. Most people on prescription meds for candida - will have a RETURN of candida after they are off the med because they have not cleaned out the BREEDING GROUNDS of the candida - which is the colon. You are probably still having a lot of brain fog for this reason. Also - don't know what your diet is like - there can be NO sugar/honey, etc.... and NO packaged foods from stores - they all have additives... etc. Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces in pure water.... wendy Extremely terrible brain fog Hi all. Guest guest
Carol - **sorry** - I did mean yes - foods that have all the ingredients 'packaged' together - like 'mixes', etc... and almost all pre-made soups are loaded with yeasts. wendy Re: Extremely terrible brain fogHi , What do you mean no packaged foods..like no frozen vegetables or brown rice that comes in a package?
