why the sudden change of heart, sweetie? and I hope you find out why you're

you apply for work where your Mom doesn't like the owner or something, she

Dear Lee,

I can empthathize with you. I am very overweight, also. I tried to treat

myself for the

candida, but after a while I found that I needed professional help. Someone had

put the

address for American College for Advancement in Medicine. (http:/www.acom.org)

I went to the sight and found a doctor in my area that specialized in The Yeast

Syndrome.

The first 6 weeks I felt completely awful! the diet is difficult to follow, and

all of the

supplements and medication was making me feel worse. I could barely get out of

bed.

It has been two months. This past week I have felt great! Tonight I went for a

blood

test,

and there was very little candida in my blood. I was so happy. I have also

lost 30 pounds

in that time. I still have a long ways to go. Candida does a lot of damage to

your body,

but I FINALLY feel that I am on the road to recovery. You might try to go to

the website

and see if there is a doctor in your area. Mine is quite expensive and I am

hoping that

insurance will pay for some of it. But, I considered it my " Last Chance

Doctor " . I have

been to several doctors, and no one would listen. They just want to tell you it

is stress

or depression. It felt great to have someone believe you and be able to treat

it.

I hope you find someone soon. I know how depressing it can be.

Gosh Jen

Sounds like you need a whole revolution in your life. I don't know all

the details but wouldn't you be better moving to a town? Nothing worse

than dependence. It sounds awful.

You ask why my change of heart? He just treats me like a precious

princess now. I have always found him irresistable and now he is

treating me so well I feel so happy.

Thanks, Lee - I was just feeling kinda down in the dumps yesterday and I

really appreciated the vent :) I'm feeling better now :) I'm going to be

applying at a local bank (since I have experience in the banking field, I've

worked for one for some 5 years off and on as a " Casual Employee " ) and

hopefully something will come of it. But with just a high school education

(no college or university or anything like that YET) my options are very slim

right now. As for moving to a town, it is kinda hard because financially, I

cannot support myself for very long (if even a week) and the jobs I do at

home for Mum is considered my " room and board. " I even cook for my brother,

who gets away with murder. As much as I love my brother, the sibling rivalry

is worse NOW than it was when we were growing up, and the 10 year age

difference (him being oldest) does not help the situation. At least I have

my father.

Keep me posted please on the Egotist!!! This is a very interesting

situation, I think!

I Love You,

Love,

:)

It seems that the address for the American College for Advancement in

Medicine is incorrect. Please can you send me the correct one.

I'm interested into getting on to the best yeast elimnatin diet.

Re my weight - I was 283 when I started I lost 16 pounds in threeweeks, then it all went back on again and I felt totally distressed, disheartened and depressed! Started thinking that if I have to remainthis hideously obese for all my life I would rather be dead.

Sorry if I haven“t been up to date on your candida details...but have you considered testing your thyroid? If you“re on a candida diet and are not losing weight, maybe your problem is hormonal. Are you the only one in your family who is obese, or is it hereditary? Consider having a thyroid test...or a couple of them, if the first one doesn“t show up positive. Do you think you have any other symptoms of hypothyroidism?

Good luck. Take care,

Holly

HYPER does that one, because you're burning the TSH (Thyroid Stimulating

Hormone) and overworking. It's strange though, one of the main symptoms of

HYPERthyroidism is feeling hot all the time, I'm the exact opposite - feeling

as thought I'm wearing a teashirt in minus forty degree weather, always COLD!

But I was diagnosed with having HYPERthyroidism. (I'm capitalizing HYPER so

it won't be mistaken with HYPO - hehehe)

Love y'all!

No...hyperthyroidism makes you skinny.

Hypertyroidism also can happen in people with candida, but hypo is much more common.
