Hello everyone,

okay here's my deal...I've had a yeast infection (at least that's

what it seems to be) for about 3 mths now. After two mths, I

FINALLY went to see a gyno, she let me know that the discharge

could be from my birth control pills, but she tested me found an

infection and prescribed a pill of diflucan,no luck. I tried

monistat a few weeks later, still no luck. After about a month of my

initial visit I went back last tuesday. The Dr. said I had less

yeast, but also some bacteria, again she prescribed diflucan, some

metronidazole(an anti-infective), and a 3 day prescription strenth

vaginally inserted cream, which I plan to start tonight...but after

taking the pills I still had no improvement. She even gave me a

diflucan for my boyfriend, because as we allknow men can get yeast

infections too. I still have to wait and see what the cream does,

but I'm afraid that nothing can help me. It isn't painful (except

during the past few attempts at intercourse) but it is very

annoying.

Does anyone have anything for me??

-I greatly appreciate any answer...

Thanks Soo much,

I have taken Diflucan--the BEST thing I know out there is ThreeLac from Global

Health Trak. It eliminates the candida naturally in your body with no side

effects like Diflucan. Let me know if you have any questions

Oh God...could THAT be why I keep getting yeast infections! Duncan

please tell me if it's true that I might have passed my yeast

infection to my boyfriend and whether or not he needs treatment as

well as me! Maybe THIS is my answer and not the hot tub issue!!!!!

Thanks very much,

Hi ...just wanted to tell you that your storry is pretty much

like mine. I've been literally doing battle with my vaginal yeast

infection for so long I'm beginning to forget what it's like to be

without one. And my gyno has been absolutely zero help! Duncan Crow

knows so much and he generously shares detailed information. The

answer will definitely come to you soon! Good luck,

Both partners should practice candida control, otherwise they do pass it

back and forth.

Wash before and after making love and all that... both patners should

take steps to make themselves poor hosts with a candida/diabetic diet. It

makes sense if only because easy starches and sugars are not a good thing

anyway.

Hi ,

I don't know where you can find threelac...I'm not on it...but I'm

sure someone on this list knows.

The Diflucan sounds like a good idea for my bf...he'd never do the

candida diet...although he does eat pretty healthfully, but eats

fruit and granola in the morning that has sugar in it. Eats bread,

of course...He just couldn't give those things up!

Thanks for your reply Duncan...this is a bit depressing! He's got

cholesterol problems...his triglycerides have been edging up pretty

steadily even though he's following a low cholesterol diet. Would

the coconut oil be of help to him???

Thanks again.

Hi ;

Coconut oil reduces triglycerides and LDL cholesterol; inulin reduces

insulin, blood glucose and VLDL cholesterol. Both also happen to be

instrumental in candida control. Bonus.

He should bear in mind that the reason a lot of us think of high

cholesterol is marketing on the part of Big Pharmacy, which is not based

in fact. The researchers pointed out, and still point out, that high

cholesterol has never been linked to heart disease, and anyway, the

lowest possible danger would be a 250 total cholesterol.

So in a political move, Big Pharmacy lobbied the doctors to arbitrarily

set the low limit of 200, to make 1/3 of the population candidates for

drug therapy.

In fact, even 250 is only a problem if you eat unsaturated and

polyunsaturated oils like they tell you to, and if you don't have enough

antioxidant intake in your diet. High cholesterol as a marker for disease

fails in all other cases.

Realize that it's only since we started to get excessive unsaturated oils

in our food that we started to see heart disease. That's right, before

the early 1950's there was precious little atherosclerosis. We ate pork

fat and butter.

Divide total cholesterol by the HDL reading. If the result is less than 4

there's no danger anyway.
