Guest guest
You ARE NOT the only one who wants to lose weight. I am 5'7 " and 155lbs. I can't lose weight no matter what i do. I work out an hour an day...most days anyway. I don't know what to do anymore either. I wear a size 10 but still...I want to weigh less. Just know that are NOT alone. I have been reading a ton on the internet and am wondering if I need to do a " colon cleanse " . Something about that was in a post here today (I'm sorry - I don't remember who sent the post)...it got me to searching and I think I am going to do one. We'll see if that helps at all... Guest guest
Why does it seem like most people loose weight on this diet, except for me? I excercise hard for 30 min. every morning, but that still doesn't help. I have more muscle now, but it weighs more than fat, and of course no one can tell it's muscle!! I am 5'6 or 7 " , and am cursed with having a larger bone structure (from my father's side), people tell me I don't need to loose weight but I REALLY want to, I weigh 150lbs. and would like to weigh about 120, ideally. I weigh the same now as I did my sophmore year in high school, when I ran laps every day in p.e. class, and did a lot of weight training and toning. I could never loose weight then, either. I am curious to find that the key ingredient in those metabo-life type drugs is chromium, does this give you energy, or help you loose weight, or both? A lot of people buy metabo-life, but what they don't know is that they can get a bottle of its main ingredient at the health store for 10 bucks!! Most of them don't even know what chromium is when I question them. I know it would be bad to loose weight if you're already too thin (as in poor Deborah's case, and several others here), but if I was that thin I would be checking in to modeling agencies! LOL. I guess growing up in California has gotten to me ;-). *** *** --- D A <henhao_us@...> wrote: > Hi all, > > I've lost nine lbs in two weeks. Guest guest
Weight is really a number. Big deal. I know...I used to be caught up in the same thing. Weight is relative. You said your bone structure is large...okay there are some pounds there. A fit, muscular body...many people LONG to have. Muscle weighs more than fat. In my opinion...120 would be underweight and not healthy looking. Try not to think about the number. As long as you are in great shape...and look great in your clothes, most importantly, feel good about yourself...who cares? I know....it is hard. But we are all blessed with being an individual. I know I will never be blonde and petite. I am tall and brunette...BIG FEET AND ALL...and that is just me. Can't change it...I just work at being me. I hope this helps. < I am 5'6 or 7 " , and am cursed with having a larger bone structure (from my father's side), people tell me I don't need to loose weight but I REALLY want to, I weigh 150lbs. and would like to weigh about 120, ideally>
Guest guest
Deborah I am in the same situation. I have found that I tolerate corn very well, so I have natural corn chips(tacos) with hummus as a snack, or Ryvita biscuits with hummus and carrot sticks on them, or sometimes as a treat, a bag of potato chips...not that this would be good for you all the time....unfortunately we have to eat a lot of protein, which means a fair amount of meat. Chicken salads are good, rice puddings made with Stevia and Rice milk..... I feel like I am eating all day....most woman would be envious...... Keep going... you will start to gain as you find what works for you Regards Losing Weight Like Crazy > Hi all, > > I've lost nine lbs in two weeks. Guest guest
Have you cut out all carbs as much as possible? Just eating protein and salads/veges should make you lose weight..... Might be your thyroid otherwise... tracy Re: Losing Weight Like Crazy > Why does it seem like most people loose weight on this > diet, except for me? Guest guest
- that's 114.4 pounds. To get a pound, I think you multiply the number of KGs by 2.2. You are REALLY thin! I weight 40 pounds more than you! Egads! :> Becca > Hi > > 5ft 7 and 155 lbs is skinny... or have I got it wrong? Guest guest
I didn't want to suggest that I don't want to lose weight...just not to get caught up on the number. That used to be what it was about for me ...I have come a long way to realize to be the best " me " I can be. A size 10 is not large at all for 5'7 " (In my opinion). But I have noticed that many 8's, 10's and size 12's are different sizes depending on the manufacturer. I AM in support of all of you. I just meant...don't get hung up on the numbers. Sorry if anyone read me wrong. moons
Guest guest
I don't think you suggested that at all. I thought your message to be uplifting actually. JMHO though.
