Abdominal pain &high white cell count

Hey gang!

I have been using a blend of herbs, probiotics,

Pau DArco tea, and a strict diet for a little over a month now.

Yesterday I had an episode that sent me to the doctor.

In the middle of the night I had severe stabbing pain in my abdomen

about 4 inches above my navel.

I did NOT have nausea or diarrhea with it.

I did have the urge to move around and to bear down to try to push

out what ever it was.

After 6 hours of agony I went to the doctor.

As soon as I got dressed the pain eased up.

He took blood, an exray and urine.

He found a highly elevated white blood cell count about 15,000.

He did not find any blockage in the intestines.

He put me on an IV drip with some heavy anti biotics and put me on

oral antibiotics also. He had me fast for 24 hours to let my organs

calm down.

I am going in to see him so he can take more blood in a couple of

hours when my fast will be over.

I asked him if my diet and the herbs had brought this on and he said

he didn't think so.

He thinks it MAY be a gall stone but lacks evidence.

Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

Could a parasite be causing this?
