Honey,

You would have to go through the cervix to get to the uterus,,,,,don't you

mean insert the garlic clove vaginally?

Sparky; I would start to exercise such as walking 2 miles & going strict on

my diet ,on the second day after the exercise i would quit my period. if i

took a hot bath, it would stop. can't think of any more ways, it's been a

while. 3 days after i had mine done your supposed to take it easy for 6

weeks? i started getting so much energy i never had before in my entire life

and started doing housework galore, BUT...... i never realized the reason i

felt good was because that yeast was gone. & i should of stayed on the diet

and did medications and i wouldn't be in this mess now! HA! mogdrmom

I also have blood sometimes when I whip myself. The only time that this happens

is when I'm using either cream or suppositories for my yeast infections, which

I've used every month for at least the past 4 years. I thought that maybe it

was from using these medications too often. I don't spot unless I'm on these

products.

This questions is very personal, and I hope i do not offend anyone with

it.... But I warn of the personal content, so if you think you cannot handle

it, please do not read any further.... delete this message now.

Okay, I am really embarrassed to ask this question... This afternoon I had

to urinate, and i found blood in the vaginal area... it is not my period, it

just ended a couple weeks ago. But today, there was evidence of blood upon

whiping myself. Again, i am not intending to gross anyone out. I just want

to know if anyone else has experienced bleeding with candida?

This is not the very first time that blood has appeared though. Many times

my skin is chaffed in the vaginal area, and I can practiclly whipe away the

dead skin due to the candida, and sometimes I am able to remove some of the

discharge from the cervical area in which sometimes blood is present. I

don't mean to be gross, but I am an exploratory kind of person, I love the

medical profession, and I am into healing. So this is not meant to be

disrespectful to anyone. I just want to know if any of you have had this

same thing. Please help me with your comments or suggestions.

I am going to make an appointment for my annual papsmear, though I am scared

to death to go because I hate those things, it is really painful for me. I

almost cried last year when I had one done.

Anyway, hope you can help me.

Thanks a lot. Sherrie in DC.

I'm curious to know about the smell also by inserting garlic into your vagina.

I would think that you wouldn't be able to stand yourself, much less anyone else

being around you. Just the thought of it gives me the willies!

Mogdrmom,

Thanks so much for your reply. I will try the fresh garlic glove. What is

that going to do about odor though? Will I smell like garlic all day?

Also, another question... I read that cotton underwear absorbs moisture,

what about powder? Is that a good idea?

Some of you might think I'm a morran (if I spelled it righ), but I have just

learned so much from being on this list, and I thought maybe someone could

help me with questions I have had.

I didn't make an appointment today, but I will definitely call my

gynocologist first thing in the morning for an appointment. I am scared

though, because I know something is definitely wrong, but I don't know what

Hi Mogdrmom,

I am just the curious type,,,,,,,,,I never have tried the garlic,,,except for

the pills. Oh,,,,before I forget,,,Lee---if you are reading

this, please, please keep on writing those wonderful posts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was

wondering if tea tree oil would help the corners of my mouth and also, the

vaginal yeast, when it comes.I think you put a certain amount of the oil in

water and use it as a douche.

I have to admit, I'm curious myself. Also, does any one of you get

terrible abdominal pain? I had a period that ended 2 days ago, yet I'm still

getting bad ovarian pain. Do any of you get this? I can't type well because

of the stabbing pain in my abdominal cavity - where one would find the

intestines. Sorry, did not want to gross you out.

I agree. Altho there is nothing really good about Candida, but a friend of

mine has always impressed upon me " if it is natural, there is nothing to be

embarrassed about. " And it is a......motto, if you will, I try to live by.

Of course, I might tack on " I didn't mean to gross you out " hehehe :)

Dear Sherrie

STOP APOLOGIZING.

I am very very very insistent that NOTHING should be out of bounds on

this list. The thought of someone suffering real misery because they are

too embarrassed to mention something because of the particular body part

it occurs in makes me really upset.

I can't help with your problem but I just wanted to make that point.

I would see the doctor if I was you.

Perhaps not wise to stick anything inside your vagina without advice.

Has anyone considered not wearing panties? I never wear them if I wear

a long Indian skirt, which I do most days. Give the area an airing, say

I.

Also candida spores on the panties are not killed by today's low

temperature washes. You will re-infect yourslef again and again. Wear no

panties, or boil them, or if they won't stand it, iron just the gusset

with a very hot iron.

I never had vaginal candida - I took all that from a Candida book by Dr

Brewer (Amazon.Com).

Who cares about the smell of garlic? Better than being ill.

If someone on the bus starts sniffing and frowing, you just say: " it's

okay, it;s just the garlic clove in my vagina! "

I would

One thing I learned through having candida is that every body part may be

affected, especially personal parts such as the intestines and sexual

organs. And, to get rid of it, we often have to do very personal things,

such as enemas, colon cleanses that cause gas, douches, etc. The first

thing I had to toss out the window when treating this disease is the idea

that anything's too personal. It affects every bodily system and every

aspect of our lives. We can't afford to be silent about anything just

because it's 'personal'. Whatever is discussed, most of us have been there

or have friends who have.

Feel free to discuss anything you need to on list. We totally understand.

Hi ,,,,,

Wait till you hear this one!!!!!!!!! In answer to your question,,,,yes,,,I

had pain,whether or not I was bleeding.OK,,,,,here goes.I had a hysterectomy

and I have had a BSO (removal of both ovaries and both tubes) I have what I

call phantom ovary pain,,,,cause I have no more ovary!!!!!!!!! I have done

alot of reserch in that area and I found lots of reasons for pain like

that,,,located exactly where the right ovary used to be.Adhesions,,,confused

nerve impulses to the brain,,,ovarian remnant

syndrome,,,,,hematomas,,,abcesses,,,,ligaments pulling,,,,where they use the

ligaments to support the pelvic floor and the vaginal cuff closure.

Anyway,,,,,,,,I was viewing a hysterectomy in progress,,,and it was being

done totally laparoscopically,,,,so,in order to remove the uterus,,,ovaries

and tubes,,,,(it was a supracervical hyst,so the cervix was left in

place)....they have to use a morcellator, which literally grinds things up and

sucks them out through the trocars,,,,,and they have to be very careful with

the ovarian tissue,,,because,,,if any of it goes a stray,,,it could find a

blood supply and regenerate somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are

interested in seeing a laparoscopic hysterectomy on-line,go to:

http://my.webmd.com/content/article/3195.167

I find all of this so interesting,,,,,I hope I didn't bore you!!!!

Also the very disease we are talking about concerns the bowels and

vagina, so we can hardly avoid talking about them

Anyway to stay on the same note, I think I have got my period today.

That is, the toilet paper was slightly pink and I am waiting to see if

it develops into a proper period. This would be wonderful news as I have

not had one in four moths, after a lifetime of regularity.

I had an experience where I began bleeding and I knew it wasn't my period.

My gyno did an ultra sound, and found that I had a fibroid tumor that was

rubbing against my cervix that was causing the bleeding.

It's not normal to bleed when you are not on your period. You need to make

yourself an appointment with the doctor.

The only blood that I have handled with candida is my monthly period which

is pure hell.

I also used to have constant bleeding (drops) between my periods.
