Jonah,

Have you tried food combining? It sounds like you may have leaky gut (I

do) and I've found it necessary to eat animal proteins only with

non-starchy foods. The starches I indulge in only with a rice or soy

protein and green veggies. Otherwise I also get gas and bloating as the

foods aren't properly digested and start fermenting in the intestines. I

also take digestive enzymes before and in between meals. Nature's Plus

Max. Strength Ultra-zyme works best for me. My holistic doc has a MSA

(Meridian Stress Analysis) system which tests different supplements and

drugs on an individual's body. It has been very useful at weeding out

unnecessary supplements and suggesting alternatives.

Leaky gut (malabsorption) also causes food allergies. If you do a search

on the internet, you'll find some interesting web sites and also another

email list. Sorry, I don't remember the addresses.

Also, my doc said all nuts have molds and encourages eating only soaked and

sprouted raw almonds. I've apparently eaten too many since they now give

me headaches. Oh, well.

not sure why. Do you have any suggestions for helping with this?

+++Hi ,

Your body could be " retracing " episodes you had with bloating and gas from

before you started on this program:

Are you having raw vegetables now? Have you cheated with off diet foods like

grains, nuts, etc.?
