Guest guest
Is it ok to eat roast Almond butter or is there something in the roasting process which is not good? The only Almond butter I can find here in England is Roast Almond butter made by Meridian. Thanks. Alice
Guest guest
Hi , No, you didn't screw up. You're doing great. Well done! All the best, Bee > > Hi Bee, > > I know I've written to you before inquiring about snacks and you said you advice against them but until I build up my fats, I can eat them. > > Normally I would just eat a hard boiled egg. However, I started working this week and things were a little hectic. It was hard getting used to the schedule. I was very proud of myself for my lunches-- I brought bison cabbage casserole in my thermos! However, I noticed I'm hungrier before lunch (after eating 2 or 3 eggs for breakfast) and extremely hungry around 2 or 3. Well yesterday I didn't bring a hard boiled egg for an afternoon snack(because I didn't have any) and I was famished! I came home and I immediately ate some raw, soaked almond butter with celery. Is that an okay snack? I've been off of nuts for 2 months. I didn't notice any changes. Working is stressful enough, and I would like to have some more options in terms of snacks. (ie- bringing in some nuts, or almond butter, hard boiled eggs) > > Please tell me I didn't screw up! I never cheat! I watched everyone at work yesterday eating donuts, cookies, and bagels... Looked so yucky to me! I would have liked to have eaten the fruit though. I'm looking forward to adding that in!
Guest guest
So if I didn't notice any changes after eating the almond butter, does that mean I can have some? Could I also have raw, soaked nuts? I need to have more snack options because I can't be feeling tired and hungry when I'm teaching all day. I was thinking I could mix my coconut oil with almond buter to have for a snack too... Also, I'm up to 4 tablespoons of coconut oil, and I stopped increasing since I just started my job. I didn't want to have any new die off. I was increasing 1 tsp every four days, do you think I should increase by 1/2 tsp instead? I want to minimize any die off possible! I also have a confession, I drank green tea my first two days. I didn't get any sleep the night before-- too excited. Is yerba mate tea okay? Thank you, > > > > Hi Bee, > > > > I know I've written to you before inquiring about snacks and you said you advice against them but until I build up my fats, I can eat them. > > > > Normally I would just eat a hard boiled egg. You can try some raw soaked nuts if you don't have any digestive problems. > > Also, I'm up to 4 tablespoons of coconut oil, and I stopped increasing since I just started my job. You can also take more than 4 days to increase it, which depends upon how you react. > > I also have a confession, I drank green tea my first two days.
