Guest guest
Boy you make it hard...no nuts , seeds, etc...LOL You just may have to take a bag of cold veggies. There are some good brown rice and black bean tortilla chips out there. Bring breath mints...they have a lot of garlic. My snacks are nuts, tortilla chips(in moderation) and veggies. Rather than carrots and celery...I go for radishes, celery, cucumber, turnips, etc. I hope this helps...but I know you want a SNACK!! LOL moons --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Alistair, I know the feeling, and I work from home so its not as bad. I snack on ryvitas (I dont know about gluten because Im not allergic to wheat), and rice cakes. I also have a cereal thats mostly quinoa which I put soy milk on and acidophilus yoghurt on too. I eat rice to bulk up, and when I really need filling I make scones. I want to hunt around for either a good recipe for Soda bread or somewhere to buy it. I also drink lots of water, sometimes Im just thirsty instead of hungry. I make sure I have 3 meals and lots of veges for dinner. I dont really crave fruit, just bulk. I miss my pasta. Not sure what out of this you could use. Kate At 10:11 AM 7/17/01 +0000, you wrote: I really need to know what I can have to snack on. Guest guest
Rice pasta I can eat, the buckwheat didn't agree with me at all.... I think its just that I miss that bulked up feeling. Well, should I say my candida misses it. Guest guest
What does Isopure taste like?"Debby B." <debbyb32901@...> wrote: Hi , I had my first fill a week ago and doing well. The pain in my mid-section is gone as of today. I seem to do very well during the day with my food intake. I drink Isopure for breakfast because I can't seem to eat in the morning and I find myself very thirsty in the AM anyway. Lunch is a half of a filet of fish or chicken breast with some veggies or mashed potatoes (very little) I seem to need a snack between lunch and dinner so I bring a piece of cheese or an Advant Edge drink. Dinner is usually the same as lunch. The problem starts about 2 hours after dinner. I still get so hungry. I'm wondering what a good filling snack would be so I don't overdo the calories. I want to eat right up to bedtime. It's no much, a copule of bites of something, but I'm afraid of over doing it. I've lost somewhere between 3 and 5 lbs this past week and don't want to get stuck fluctuating between these 3-5 lbs. Any help would be appreciated. Guest guest
Hi Debby, So glad you are doing so well. I am finding it difficult to figure out what to eat. The morning is not good...I don't have success and everything seems to get stuck and feel like a golf ball. Once I begin eating...I get the feeling like I have gulped or didn't chew...and things get stuck. Yesterday I cooked a turkey....smelled so good, make mashed potatoes and green bean. well.....I took a piece of turkey and felt so stuck, I took a sip of water and actually had to work at burping and getting it up. That was the first time I felt that stuck. I get the golf ball feeling but truthfully, it passes after a few minutes. I feel terrible because I know the things that pass are not good for me to eat. ARe you able to eat a sandwich...I can down a whole bag a popcorn....I feel like I can snack all the time but when it comes to meals..no way. I even bought melons and pinapple, grape, already cut up from the grocery....really difficult time with that. HElp.....any tips. Thanks, Jody snacks? Guest guest
You shouldn't be eating popcorn or dry meat like turkey. You should be trying to eat food that is nutrition rich. For breakfast try an Atkins protein shake or a carnation instant breakfast shake. I would suggest that you cut your food up into smaller pieces, chew them more (40 times) and slow down. Good luck!Jody Sparks <sparkle4@...> wrote: Hi Debby, So glad you are doing so well. I am finding it difficult to figure out what to eat. Guest guest
ISOPURE, comes in all different flavors, if you take the chocolate powder and blend it with milk, ice and half a banana it to me is drinkable, not like some other protein drinks, I spent so much on ones off the internet and they make me gag. Anyways, the pre-mixed fruit flavored ones aren't bad at all they are just very expensive. Tracie K. Guest guest
ISOPURE is suppose to be3 see through, however, when using the choclate posder you can't really see through it but it is still considered a clear liquid, when mixed with water. 0 Tracie K.
