,

Cheer! My next dose is August 9. The one thing I am sad about for you is

being alone in the room. I am in a room with about 7 other people. And we

have a TV, though it never gets turned on bcs people would rather read. If it

weren't for the interaction of all the other people I'd die of boredom. My

first treatment, I was there 5+ hours! So don't be surprised if you're there

a while. I also have at least 2 nurses. They are taking care of everyone

getting various treatments. They are fun and joke around with us.

Don't be disappointed if you don't notice anything right away. I noticed a

huge difference the very next day. But some people take a week or two. My doc

said to actually get about 4 doses before I made a decision about staying on

it. I guess he said that bcs some people took that long for their body to

respond. I also talked with others who told me it took them that long. But

they all say it has changed their lives! One lady, an older lady I would

guess in her 60's, has really bad damage to her hands. They are bent,

crippled, crooked, and actually some finger joints fused together on their

own. You know what she does?? She draws gorgeous pictures!

So don't be worried. Keep the hope!

If you have other questions, let me know. =)
