Guest guest
... this is kind of a personal question,,, but if its just before 'that time of the month' I get that too.... but if not... how far along on your candida treatment are you? One of the signs of candida " is " the bloating...and constipation. wendy Retaining WaterIn a message dated 02/26/2001 9:32:42 PM Central Standard Time, candidiasis writes: Drink as much water as you can as well. I read this in Ann 's post and couldn't help wondering: does anyone here seem to have a problem with water rentention? I have increased my water intake and I find that I am retaining it. I weigh the same, but my abdomen is so bloated, and since I have started drinking more water I have had a problem with constipation. I've started having bran flakes for breakfast (because I hate taking laxatives) and it's helped some, but I was wondering if anyone here had that problem? Only just before my period, or if I've eaten an apple (I know, I know....but I've only had three in 8 months, and I've bloated up like a bouncy castle after each one!). The rest of the time, the more I drink the less bloated I am. Try psyllium for the constipation - it's worked wonders for me, although it doesn't agree with everyone. Guest guest
No, I didn't have a problem with water retention, but I did with the bloating. Are you ASSUMING, because you are bloated that it is the WATER? Anyway, some things that I did to help with constipation: 1. Ground flax seeds in my oatmeal or any other food that you choose. 2. Castor oil packs. I also was taking some probiotics for the candida. Oh I almost forgot, I was instructed to take a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and honey in 8 ozs. of clean water, 1/2 hour before eating. I don't recall what the purpose of the raw, unfiltered vinegar was. Perhaps someone else can clue us in. Guest guest
You must take Uva Ursi for this water retention. It is go great! I get so filled up with water and I notice that I am not urinating as well. Take 1 500 mg tablet, it last for about half of the day for me, then I take another. Remember to add your potassium and Magnesium, they will get flushed out. I avoid sodium at this time because it acts as a magnet for water. You may find headaches go away also.
