Guest guest
>I asked for opinions and personal experiences to be shared not to >be judged and made assumptions about. >> Hi , It has been my experience that the least " troublesome " of drinks for me, reaction wise that is , has been vodka/cranberry - I am a bartender and a med student at ECU - I have no scientific basis as to why drinks such as cosmopolitans, martinis, gimlets caused me less of a problem, but after much experimentation ( and some ugly repercussions after trying to drink things occasionally like beer, red wine etc) that is what I have found to work the best for me. Stay away from drinks with OJ/Grapefruit - because he brands of juices that bars use generally contain added sugar/cornsyrup. As for the red meat - when i go to Lonestar or Outback, call ahead the day I am planning to go and ask the manager to put a steak on the side for me so it will not have all the marinades which contain a BUNCH of sugars. The employees of the establishments have been very accommodating for me. Good Luck :-) Dawn ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
