Guest guest
I have candida and also suffer from leaky gut. My understanding is that there are a number factors that can contribute to leaky gut. I believe it comes down to the fact that candida suffers and alike have developed the perfect environment for candida overgrowth thanks to such things as antibiotics and others etc which impact the gut lining-causing leaky gut The following website (from Great Smokies Diagnostic Labs) explains the causes of leaky gut really well and how it ties in with candida. Also solutions. I found it really interesting. (make sure you read the second page) http://www.gsdl.com/news/1999/19990227/ You will find a lot of candida symptoms are associated with leaky gut. --- ilhan305 <ilhan305@...> wrote: > How Many of you people out there have problems with > eating > Just plain wheat (whole grain) with no yeast. > Because the candida diet allows wheat, and if you > have a problem with it your candida sensitivity like > I said before is probably developed by the gluten > intolerance your body has, because my theory is that > gluten intolerance causes leaky gut (this is a fact) > and leaky gut causes hypersensitivity to yeast (like > an allergy to yeast). Guest guest
Regarding wheat, it is now becoming a common theory that part of the weight and health problems in the US stem from the overuse of grains/grain forms in everything we eat. Even before processing, during the growing season, they are loaded with pesticides and such. The grains are what are used to fatten the beef, poultry and pork in the US. It is a substance that is also one of the seven common allergens and also now thought to be a root cause of much of the overweight in the US population. What we use here is overprocessed and mixed with every other type of food, so the stomach enzymes are unable to digest the combination of foods that we eat for maximum nutrition. In addition, because of the improper combining and lack of proper elimination, the digestive tract possibly contains layers of improperly digested mucus that do not allow all of the nutrients to pass through to the blood stream. This is perhaps why juicing the vegetables/fruits, and liquid green drinks and protein drinks work so much better to get the nutrients directly into the blood stream. Supposedly, capsule supplements and supplements that can be taken in liquid or directly on/under the tongue are also more effective at getting into the bloodstream. The strong acid environment is also why it takes so long for the good bacteria to get into the intestinal area to fight the candida overgrowth. The current thinking goes back to the past (Jensen, Weil, and other naturopaths) in stating that we have to return the internal body ph to an alkaline state before it can restore itself to proper health. If anyone would like a chart of acid/alkaline foods (most alkaline foods are also excellent for candida diets), I will be happy to provide one. Guest guest
Hi I don´t know if I have problems with wheat. A doctor told me that, testing me with a strange acupunture machine. I´ve never had syntoms with it before, until I had syntoms for " all " grains and sugar. I don´t know if candida causes this intolerance or if the intolerance is causes candida. The only thing I do know is that I was in a diet without wheat 8 month (but with lots of sugar), and I got worse. " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " M. ta de la Canal isis@... Guest guest
, I would love to have a copy of the acid foods list! Thanks! TJ <hooversmomrocks@...> Also, I have a question for you, because you really are knowledgeable. My father, who is the one with the candida prob, has been on Nystatin for quite some time, and I want to get him onto caprylic acid. Should he overlap the two, then get off the Nystatin for a while, or should he just take caprylic acid, or should he take them concurrently? wrote: > Regarding wheat, it is now becoming a common theory > that part of the weight and health problems in the > US stem from the overuse of grains/grain forms in > everything we eat. Guest guest
The problem is sugar - Candida lives on sugar and yeast. Starch are converted into sugar. Heloise Whole Grain Wheat > How Many of you people out there have problems with eating > Just plain wheat (whole grain) with no yeast. Because the candida diet allows wheat, and if you have a problem with it your candida sensitivity like I said before is probably developed by the gluten intolerance your body has, because my theory is that gluten intolerance causes leaky gut (this is a fact) and leaky gut causes hypersensitivity to yeast (like an allergy to yeast). Thus I am thinking that we are all suffering from an underlying disorder, that is causing this problem. > > The disorder that I suspect the most is Gluten Intolerance because gluten is in a lot of foods, and can causee massive damage to the intestines. > > So the people out there who have problems with yeast please reply. > Thank you! > > > >
