, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOo happy for you. I (as well as others, I am sure) told you about the site. I have just reordered for the third time this week and found initially ( and still) the same responses almost immediately as you did.

Hallelujia (sp?)!!!!

You feel like having been released from prison, no?

Smiles,

Keep it up. So far for me, I haven't felt the effectiveness of any of the supplements dwindle, which has always happened in the past.

There is a man in our community,,, highly respected in the field of

'iridology'. He's been doing it for about 25 years and has helped many.

I know that people don't always agree with this... but this man also gave me

a live blood cell analysis... and i looked at my blood under a dark field

microscope. It was fascinating. He was the one that told me this.

Interestingly, after he said that I found out that cortisone and similar

treatments shut down the adrenals... or severely damage them... and I had

been on those treatments off and on for a few years.

Other symptoms/tip offs I had were that I get shaky, weak, and sweaty from

adrenal surges. For a while I really thought I had 'panic attacks'. Diet

didn't change that - i'm not hypoglycemic. An author named Miryam

on (who writes a lot on fibromyalgia) described her reaction to

stress and it made a BIG impression on me--when certain kinds

of stressors occur, I kind of collapse inside and have to really pull myself

together to address it. Other times, I am great handling an emergency

situation, like when somebody needs first aid, but crash afterwards.

on writes, " Many people with fibromyalgia have inadequate adrenal

hormones.

I posted a site a few days ago that compares adrenal insufficiency and

thyroid insufficiency - did you go there and read? Its from Dr. Rind, and is

a great site.

One more thing... the last time I went to the dentist (3 months ago) I had

the typical numbing stuff put in - but they didn't tell me that they use

epinephrine as well. (Adrenals release adrenalin which is NATURAL

epinephrine). ... anyway - already being in 'ragged' shape with my

adrenals... and not knowing it... the dentist said he had some extra time

and would i mind if he did a few more teeth?? OH NO... i said - that would

be great - 'get em all done at once' (and I had good dental coverage too).

So... he proceeded to give me two more shots. within about 5 minutes I

almost started to black out. I was DIZZY in the extreme and they all took

one look at me and gave me orange juice to drink and stood me outside in the

air. I was sooo sick. Anyway -the doc continued and later that night

around 10:00 p.m. I had about 5 terrible terrible unnerving adrenalin surges

that scared me out of my wits. I was petrified and didn't know what was

wrong with me. I sat up almost all the night. I found out later that the

dentist used epinephrine !! It took about 4 days for that to finally 'wear'

off... and I will never do that again!

So epinephrine is bad if you have adrenal

problems...I've been taking psudefederine (is that how

you spell it?) in one form or another for practically

all of my life due to sinus problems. Some times at

work I get all Shaky, sweaty, weak, and nauseus after

something stressful happens, or if I get

embarassed...and this explains why it feels so simular

to an Overdose of sudafed! I always wondered why, I

would count back the hours and make sure I hadn't OD'd

on any pills, but it sure felt like it. Once it got

really severe after I almost hit another employee in

the parking lot...he was pushing carts and I was

turning a corner and *BOOM* he was there in front of

my car. I slammed on the breaks and there was no harm

done, and I wasn't as close to hitting him as I felt,

but it scared me so bad I couldn't stop shaking for

over an hour, and I felt like I was going to pass out.

I could barely proceed to park my car.

I was following the posts about the adrenalin

and feeling shaky. My symptoms haven't

followed the same story as yours except

when something sudden happens I can get

a shaking episode that last a good 20 minutes.

I have an anxiety disorder-panic attacks-and

this is what the doctor said was causing mine.

I just thought i would post this since someone

else may have this problem not related to the

adrenal gland.

When I first experienced this I saw information

on television referring to drug addicts that has

this over contolled disorder for shaking. They

said that is how you can tell if a person is a

drug addict or not. What gall! I never did any

drugs to put me in this condition and to think

that the average person is taught this stupid

theory!!!!

- although things can sometimes 'mask' themselves - I would not

hesitate to say you are 'classic'.... for adrenals...

I took every test I could for my thyroid - kept thinking that the ones

checking it had a problem!! My poor doc - I raked him over the coals ... and

then I found info on adrenals and BINGO it was right on. I've also always

been 'underweight' and did not fit the 'profile' for thyroid prob.'s at

all...

A bit of background: I grew up in a very violent household. My parents were

always fighting - but it was mostly because of my dad who was a terrible

alcoholic, who got very violent when he drank. Consequently I remember all

my childhood just " shaking " uncontrollably when he was around. You " never

knew " when he was going to haul off and hit you or do something weird - so I

developed that very young. Then in my teen years ... eventually my parents

got divorced and I got into competitive sports. I traveled around Canada

playing racquetball - which is a hard sport and highly competitive. I was

in the top 10 and LOVED living on the adrenaline it took to be in

tournaments every weekend. Then I got married in the middle 80's and we had

3 children in a row - all a year and a bit apart.... a few years later I had

a major car accident - and I was officially a WRECK. I do still have soft

tissue injuries... but the underlying, foundational problem that no one has

even 'minutely' looked at is this adrenal thing!!! Until this last year of

having the'surges' and the freaky feeling of prickling up the back of my

neck and HOT, hot, hot when it happened I could not figure it out!!

I am not against all docs - but sometimes we have to do our own diggin!!

And I thank the Lord for this internet!!! I would have had to buy tons of

books to even FIND all the info I have found !! I've also been able to

email Dr. Rind and other docs and they've answered me which has been

wonderful.

at this site: www.chronicfatigue.org there is a chart where he shows a

picture of a person that has 'stress' after 'stress' piled upon their body

and the eventual collapse. He also gives a lot of info on adrenals.

To all of you who cannot get some of these medicines over there.... like

- what would happen if someone 'mailed them' to you???? is it

illegal?????

No it's not illegal, its just, as I said before, the chance in dollars. You

are in the UK? and at the rate today, your 10 pounds, is $32 dollars

here.....triple plus some.

Wow ! I've had reactions at times to the dentist shots also. Didn't

know why! I just went for my first teeth cleaning yesterday since I started

the diet in Sept. She couldn't believe how there was no plaque build up at

all and my gums were in perfect shape. Another benefit to eating healthy!
