I'm wendy and live in southern ca.... this is a great group and I believe you will get tons of help, encouragement and info... blessings wendy rookie Hi, I'm the rookie here and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sandy and I am a 32 yr. old mother of 3. I've had symptoms of itchy skin, yeast infections...and yeast on the skin after running marathons. I also have a positive ANA with symptoms of CFS or Fibromyalgia. SED rate is normal. I have headaches almost daily. I also have a ton of stress in my life, but running helps with that...and I'm starting yoga or Ti'Chi soon. I'm a vegan and don't work outside the home, due to my special needs children. Also - my personal favorite is " Candida-Related Complex " by Winderlin & Sehnert. This book is extremely comprehensive... it is my favorite. Another goodie is Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and Environmental Illness because it gives you the 'comprehensive' look at everything - including where to get tests, doctors, and all sorts of really great info. Good sections on thyroid and candida (and all parasites) in it. Another thing Sandy - is the huge resources we have on line! My lymph nodes are swollen, exhausted...trying to be so healthful...but yet, it never seems to completely work out that way. I'm feeling very bloated from all the water I drink...and wishing I could just down a Pepsi about now. <sigh>...my friends call me the chronic complainer...but geez...why won't God listen when I say, " UNCLE, ENOUGH....THANKS...JOKES OVER!! " ...sounds like I'm not the only one feeling that way here. Thanks for the support and letting me vent. Guest guest Posted February 17, 2001 Report Share Posted February 17, 2001 Sandy: if you want a soda, buy seltzer water, 0 calories, 0 sugar, just has bicarbonate in it (sp) it requires a taste, drink it for the fizz. it also comes in lime, lemon & raspberry flavor (still no sugar) squeeze a lemon, add to the seltzer, add stevia & wala walla the best Lemonade i have ever tasted! my Dr. ok's this. i usually have one a day. He created a naturopathic association and had to kids to witch he did breed as vegans. The boys are doctors now and vegetarians too. They recommend now to drink milk. They never apologized in public for the mistake.
