Guest guest
- there is a type of lupus that is only on the skin - i mean it is not the one that is terminal that affects the organs. It starts out with blotches - and coin-sized marks on the skin. There is also 'sensitivity' to sun. I have no idea if this is the type of spots that you mean... but just thought i'd throw it out there. wendy white spots anyone?? I was just wondering if anyone in this group has ever had a problem with white spots on their skin, mainly arms? I heard on a talk radio show (love line, for those of you who are familiar with it) that white spots are a fungus that is contagious, and can be transmitted through person to person contact. I have them all over my arms, and they look like little bleached spots on my skin, giving it a blotchy appearance. On the radio show, Dr. Drew recommended using selson blue for a couple of days, he said it would clear it up in a couple of weeks. I tried this but it didn't work. Has anyone else ever heard of this, or experienced this? *** *** __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Are you sure they are not pigmentation spots - lack of pigmentation of your skin? This appears like you have bleached your skin in patches. Just a thought. white spots anyone?? > I was just wondering if anyone in this group has ever > had a problem with white spots on their skin, mainly > arms? Guest guest
are they raised or flat on the skin? If it's flat, it could be just a pigment disorder, which my brother-in-law has. I have Lupus, but don't have white spots. I get red patches. Sandy __________________________________________________

Just a thought, I get small white pimples on the backs of my arms. It's nothing serious. I had them for years before a nurse told me that they are a sign that you are eating something that you are sensitive to. Sorry don't know the medical term for them. Within 2 weeks of being on the candida diet they had completely vanished. I inadvertently ate something that I afterwards suspected had wheat in it, lo and behold the spots reappeared. Guest guest
Sandy, If you don't mind me asking, do you know the name of your brother-in-law's pigment disorder? And do you happen to know if he's had it his whole life, or if it cropped up later? Mine didn't appear until I began taking minocycline and accutane, although which one of the drugs is responsible I'm not sure. *** *** --- Faison <samoyed5150@...> wrote: > are they raised or flat on the skin? > > If it's flat, it could be just a pigment disorder, > which my brother-in-law has.
