Hmm, is right. I would definitely wonder. When I had my 2nd liver biopsy back

in 1990, I wanted Ryder in with me while it was done. The doctor said " no, "

so Ryder left the room. I said, " Well, *I* want him in here. " The doctor said

something like he didn't want to worry about Ryder passing out. I said, " He's

not gonna pass out! I want him in here! " He told the nurse to go get him. I

think he knew that I wouldn't budge. I am one stubborn Scorpio!

Besides, it is " MY " right as a patient to have whoever I want in the room

with me. If the doctor doesn't want someone in with you, I'd ditch him.

What's he's hiding? Besides, doctors have nurses in for them to be their

witness, and as a patient I want someone in as *my* witness! And to hear what

I don't hear. Every time I go to the RD someone goes in with me. Either Mom

or Ryder and they always hear something I miss. Having someone in with you is

a valuable asset for better health. Peace of mind, etc. You can ask anyone

and they would say, have someone in with you, even for just a cold or

something. You never know what will happen.

Personally, whenever I go to the doc, I " require " someone to be with me. A

safeguard to and for my health.

Good Luck, ! I will be thinking of you!

Smiles, Sue
