Hi a,

How wonderful that you are pregnant. I certainly don't mean to be preaching, but if you are an O it is very important that you get protein from meat and fish but especially meat and lots of good veggies. Make sure you stay away from wheat and most dairy. Get the blood type book or get on the www.dadamo.com site. There's a wealth of info and because about 45% Americans are type O blood, the main message board has a lot of O folks discussing and you can learn a lot. Somethings I know O's should avoid are corn, kidney beans, navy beans, lentils, peanuts and potatoes. Hope this helps.

Best of health to you,

Margo

Hi Everyone!

I've been following the Blood Type Diet for almost two years! During

that time, I went through my first pregnancy (and during that time, I

also picked up this yeast problem!) and this is the one critical thing I

learned....make dietary changes slowly! I started eating soy, buckwheat

and all these other Type A superfoods (which I never ate before) on a

daily basis...and now, I'm allergic to almost all of it.

On a second note, my candida reactions/ food allergies happen as a sharp

pains under my ribs, usually on the left, sometimes on the right side.

It happens within minutes of eating, say, a raisin or soymilk or

leftovers. I've never read anywhere that this is common for candida

sufferers, but that's my own quirky reaction.

One last thing- I had candida while pregnant and don't know how it's

affected my son. Does anyone have more information on this?

Sincerely,

Marabel
