Hi Ann,

Thanks for the info, I was wondering which brand of GSE you, I've currently

got biocare and higher nature, and are you also supposed to rotate yeast

raiders?

Thanks

Faisal

To the Brits - 'Yeast raiders'

Afternoon, folks!

I got my new Holland and Barrett catalogue today (sad, I know...!),

and those of you in the UK might be interested to know that thy've

just started doing something called 'Yeast raiders', a compound of

acidophilus, Caprylic acid, biotin, vitamin C, Pau D'arco, black

walnut, echinacea, garlic, goldenseal, 'fibbre blend' (psyllium, guar

gum, apple pectin), ginger, barberry - oh, loads of stuff! It seems to

be a one-stop anti-candida capsule - personally I prefer to take

things individually for full control over rotation, balanced doses and

so on, but if you're after something a bit more convenient they

might be worth a try. It's £12.99 for 150 capsules, at a dose of

5/day, so the price isn't too bad. You can order online now as well -

www.hollandandbarrett.com.

Can I just say, though - GSE=die-off liek no die-off I've ever had!!

Debs - how'd this afternoon go? Hope you don't leak on the plane!

It's not actually got a brand name on it, but I got it online from Bio-

support (http://www.vitalsupplements.co.uk/). It just says 'GSE' on

the bottle, with instructions - makes a change to pay for what you

get, rather than for a load of fancy gold packaging! (All Hail the

Great Gold God Solgar!! ;) ).

Here's the actual GSE page, but it's not terribly useful....

aids_12.html#a69

I've found Bio-Support to be very good though - the prices are

reasonable, p & p is free, the chap on the phone is ever so nice and

the stuff arrives within 48 hours.

> re you also supposed to rotate yeast raiders?

I'd have thought so. I don't know. I've only seen the product list in

the catalogue, so I don't know any details, but I'd be inclined to

rotate it simply because it's got caprylic acid in, which candida

becomes resistant to.

Is it any good? What sort of die-off do you get with it? I'm debating

getting some 'yeast raiders' as backup or for the (rare!) occasions

when I have to leave the house - might be easier than carting 17

bottles of assorted stuff with me!

It is too early to tell. I have just started it. It does help with

elimination since it has pysillium(sp) in it. I haven't had it very long.

But it seems to have the key ingredients as the Yeast raiders does. Sorry I

can't be of more help.

You may be interested that i use Higher Nature Citricidal (liquid

drops, 60% extractives, 40% glycerol) which is cheaper than Biosupport

at £7.20 for 50ml.

Thanks Pete - that is cheaper than mine!! Where did you get it

from? I have to get mine mail-order because nowhere in Cardiff

sells it, and I'm going to need more in a week or so, I think.

Cheers,

Ann

Luckily, my 'local' does it. You could ask your local health shop if

they deal with Higher Nature and if they'd order some for you.

Otherwise, I'm told Higher Nature do alot through mail order and I'm

sure you'd be able to find the address...hang on (he reaches into his

coat pocket and produces a small yellow bottle of Higher Nature

Citrical) the address is Higher Nature, Burwash Common, East Sussex,

TN19 7LX.

Cheers,

Pete
