I'm glad that I am not the only one who fell off the wagon during the

holidays. I took the Great Smokies CDSA test during Christmas, so I told

myself that I wanted to make sure that they had plenty of yeast to culture -

is that the lamest excuse you've ever heard???

Yup, that's definitely the worst of it - die-off, for me, was a horrible,

doped-up, 'disconnected' feeling, similar to the horrible toxic way

you feel the day before you go down with a really nasty cold. Not

fun, but worth persevering with - my candida is nearly back down to

normal levels now and my gut is healing well. Still feel pretty dire -

my doctor's looking into thyroid problems - but I've won my first

battle in the campaign for full health!

OK, if we're havign confessions, in the past fortnight I've had (to the

tune of '12 days of Christmas') two slices of bread, two chocolate

truffles, one ferrero rocher, two wheat-flour tortillas, one bag of

chips, one sip of whisky and some pancakes made with real milk.

And yes, ta, I do feel bloody dreadful, and no, I won't be doing it

again! :-/
