Guest guest
candida is definitely affected by topical antibiotics or taking them in pill form.... if you cannot find anything else for your eye - and you have to take it - hit yourself with strong, good probiotics as well. is this a recurring eye infection that you think may be candida related?? wendy Topical Antibiotics OK or not? I've been given some Topical antibiotic ointment (chloramphenicol) for my eye infection which started a couple of days ago. I tried a milder non-antibiotic but it didn't do any good. Will it affect the Candida in my gut? My Candida has not so far affected my mouth and throat but I've had it in my sinuses. Should I help my body out by taking something else? I doubt if it will affect your gut, if it's topical, but maybe take an extra probiotic a day just in case, and make sure there's none on your hands when you eat or prepare food. Hope the eye clears up soon - I've only had conjunctivitis once, but it's miserable. Ann
