Guest guest
Aloha All: I read this mornings posts and had a few comments that I hope you find helpful: Stevia-- This herbal sweetener has been safely used in South America for centuries. I'd seriously doubt any claims about its " dangers. " It is a direct competitor to aspartame, sucralose, sorbitol, etc, so it does not surprise me that negative rumors are being spread about it. In the USA, the aspartame industry effectively blocked it from the country in the 1980s just as aspartame was about to hit the market. It was only allowed in under a Congressional ruling of 1994. It STILL, however, cannot be used or labelled as a sweetening agent--it is only sold separately. White dots in stools-- This might be undigested fat globules and can indicate fat malabsoprtion and poor bile release. I'd be using digestive enzymes with lipase in them or bitter herbs with every meal. Caprylic acid-- In my experience, this substance is simply too weak to overcome a rampant yeast infection. I got better results with the enteric-coated oils and undecylenic acid. Mucous and blood in stools-- This could be a sign of Crohn's or colitis. Regardless, it means the intestines are very inflamed. I'd be using l-glutamine and whey protein powder to help repair the wall and bentonite clay to help get the mucous out. Digestive enzymes are a MUST also. Raw eggs-- Well if you're sensitive to them, don;t eat them. And raw eggs only bind to biotin when ingested in high amounts. I, too, had major digestive problems and continued allergies after most of my yeast was gone--the result of intestinal wall damage. I corrected it with glutamine, whey, and essential fatty acids from cod liver oil. All the best, Byrnes, ND, RNCP http://www.PowerHealth.net ________________________________________________________________________________\ _____ Get more from the Web.
