Thank you, Ilana.

I just wonder if the Stevia you can by, is the green powder with an

aftertaste of liquorice or is it the refined kind that is white?

Stevia has been used in Japan since forever and over there diet Coke

has been sweetened with Stevia since 1973!

Stevia is harmless and a perfectly natural product. I agree with Dr.

that ugly talk has been spread around about it and that is

because some people or countries have special interests in other

products that would loose their popularity on the market if such a

healthy thing as Stevia would appear.

Pia,

It's the green kind (I just opened it up), but I haven't used it yet, so I

don't know about the taste. I have to find something to use it in. I

actually bought it to bake cookies (spelt or whole grain) with during

christmas. ;-)

I only found one kind here, but maybe another can be ordered? I'd have to

ask around for it.

My dutch info says exactly the same about Japan and competition. It is

considered well tested throughout the years and perfectly safe here.
