Hi,

Just thought I'd give you an update as I have some encouraging news.

I went to see my Kinesiologist () on Wednesday.

If you remember in mid November I saw her for the 1st time. She said

then that my Candida was at 58%. She put me on FOS and no caffeine

alcohol or chocolate for 2 weeks. In early December I saw her and

the Candida was down to 48%. She said not to start the candida diet

until after Christmas. Well I was careful but not too strict.

Finished the FOS and took TH207 (Thyroid support).

On 1st Jan 2001 I started the Candida diet properly. I had a tough

time to start with. Got some good ideas from other listers (thanks

Nastasya, Kim, and Ethan amongst others).

So on Wednesday tested the candida levels and said they were

down to 18%. I'm so pleased. I really feel I can crack this now.

She's put me on Caprylic Acid which I will start tomorrow. Looking

forward to die-off ! (NOT).

I hope you are all doing well. thanks for the Carrot Cake

recipe, I'll try it when I get my Stevia.

Hi Deborah,

It's good that you're making progress. I was wondering can kinseologists

diagnose candida (and also see how bad it is, what about adrenal problems?).

I was seeing a kinseologist (well he is part) for 2 years and he didn't even

see that I had candida when I obviously do. Is your kinseologist in the UK

(possibly london)?

Thanks

Faisal

I don't think you are mad - especially if this treatment helps you. That is

all that matters. I haven't been able to find many objective and

quantifiable means of measuring progress, so I am curious about everything

that I read. I am awaiting the results from the CDSA test that I sent off to

Great Smokies Labs. My DO has rec'd them and I should find out this week.

Hi Faisal,

problems?).

As far as Candida goes, absolutely. Actually, it seems like my body

had been waiting for someone to ask the Candida question because

(my practitioner) said that she was led right to the Candida

within a few minutes of starting the muscle testing. I had no idea

that I had Candida when I went to see her.

I don't know about Adrenal problems, I suppose if they are on

a 'circuit' and that circuit has a weakness in it then a diagnosis

may be possible. As I said, I don't really know.

Sorry, is based near Ipswich in Suffolk (UK). I found her

through a personal recommendation from someone else who beat her

Candida problem with 's help.

says that in about 70% of her patients Candida plays a part in

their illness to a lesser or greater degree.

She does have a directory of other Kinesiologists and she may know a

few personally in London. I will ask her if she knows anyone. It is

five weeks before I need to see her again though. You could also

look at

http://www.healthk.co.uk/map.html

As with any practitioner, if you are not getting value out of your

sessions then consider using a different one.

A kinesiologist can only prescribe food supplements and not drugs.

It is a strange treatment. Initially it is hard to believe in but

for me it seems to be working so I'm sticking with it.

I wish you luck, if I can help you with more info please let me know.

Hello Tracey,

No problem.

I suppose it depends upon your definition of precise as the methods

she uses are not 'scientific' (no test tubes are involved).

She uses muscle testing, which is I'm led to believe is accepted in

practice in general medicine, not just 'alternative' therapies.

You can read more about kinesiology and mucle testing on the

following pages

http://www.healthk.co.uk/faq.html

http://www.kinesiologyfederation.org/kfaboutk.htm

Both sites have case histories of sucessful Candida treatments.

You probably think I must be a bit mad to go for this kind of

treatment; my partner thinks it's a bit strange. I guess you have to

go with whatever works for you.

Anyone else out there have positive/negative experience with Candida

and Kinesiology?

Re: Re: Looks like progress ;-)

Debs - thanks for the map of kinesiologists. There's one in Cardiff -

yaaaay! If I don't get anywhere with my doctor today I might just

check her out - I'll let you know.

Ann

------

Ann,

Good luck! I've had a great time with my kinesiologist - she was the first

person to pick up my candida infection, and she has helped move me a long

way toward eliminating the little beggars. So, it's a good move!

However, she told me last month that they had virtually gone, but I've

experienced a really icky month stomach wise. The bloatedness has more or

less gone, but I'm still having discomfort when I go to the loo - any

ideas?!

Hope you are all well :o) (Well, relatively!)

hello

My kinseologist diagnosed Candida in my case. I firmly believe this

was an accurate diagnosis. Also she has diagnosed adrenal problems.

Mostly my kinseologist uses muscle testing the diagnose. i strongly

recomend seeing a kinseologist for almost anything espicially

considering their reasonable prices for medical services..
