Guest guest
Wow this group has sure been active. Uggg I hate to say it but I have to speak up on both issues. First of all, I am sick, still not completely sure however that it is my implants. As all of you know, I still consider it a possibility that it could just be a coincidence, since many women in my age group get immune diseases, it is not uncommon. I still think the implants may have played a role, I am just not 100% convinced, the evidence and statistics are confusing and unclear and there are many many many more women who are healthy and fine and satisfied with their SALINE implants than those who are ill. I mean this is obviously true, or they just wouldn't be on the market. I mean if everyone got sick, obviously there wouldn't be so many people satisfied with them. So in defense of Dr.Kolb, she is informing her patients of the risks, and really if one is fully informed then one must make thier own decisions as an adult, correct? I for one was so set on getting implants, I just don't know if anything would have stopped me. I mean obviously had I seen into the future and known I was going to get this illness I wouldn't have had the surgery, but since there is no way to see the future, I anticipated that the benefits outweighed the risks. I mean it is so unfortunate that we all have had our lives torn up by these things, but how many women are there really who are sick from saline implants? Where are they all? I just get so confused by all of this. I mean I believe that this disease exists, esp in women who had leaking gel in them for years and years, but I just don't find too many women with saline who got sick so fast as I and Patty and a few others did. So I question what other factors must be taken into account? I had a lot of dental work done prior to the implants(with in the last two years) was this a combination of things all built up? I just don't know. I have good and bad days too, probably just as many as Patty has in regards to the Brain fog, yet I still have my implants and she does not. So again does getting them out resolve this brain thing? I have my reservations on this issue also. There is just so much unknown. Yes I wish I could go back, and just have had a lift and gone on with my life. If I would have gotten sick anyway then I guess at least I wouldn't have the implant question hanging over my head. I know a few women who had hysterectomies and were never the same again, including one who got fibromyalgia, she never had implants. Anyway, I know it seems I am playing devils advocate here, and I am probably foolish but I do know many women who have implants and are ok, some even with silicone, for like 15 years, and there are alot of them who are fine, until we find out exactly what is triggering this response in some women we obviously cannot chastise(sp?) the Dr.'s like Dr.Kolb who are trying to help, inform, and at the same time satisfy a need for women, who are willing and accept the risks that go along with implants. While I too question the fact that Dr.Kolb herself has implants after being ill I question more how she is doing now and what kind of symptoms if any she still has. I would love to hear more on this, so Dr.Kolb if you haven't been chased away please please tell us how you are doing and how you feel about all this. Seriously hoping I have not pissed anyone off too much with this post. Another sick confused woman ........
Guest guest
I wonder if they did do that since I am experiencing the same. Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry® wait a minute I have been skimming over the emails about old podcasts becuase I have been listening for about 2 years and have them all...or so I though. I just went to my podcasts on itunes and all that are there are the most recent 3 or 4....is this what is going on? How can they be removed from my itunes podcast libraray? I am afraid to hook my ipod up because I don't want them to be taken off my ipod. I thought that the old ones just wouldn't be available on itunes for people that didn't already have them. I don't think its fair for PLM to remove them from a persons library...is that who did this? I didn't do anything.

Guest guest
I have found my more recent episodes have been added into a new IOWL folder in the " podcasts " section of itunes... but the old ones are all still there in a separate folder... might be worth checking if that's not happened to anyone else! x From: WitchToy@... <WitchToy@...> Subject: Re: wait a minute weightloss Date: Sunday, April 4, 2010, 2:29 AM Â I have them in my Windows Media Player library, as well as iTunes and I make darned good and sure that they're all there. I didn't actually have an iPod until I got my iPhone, but I always keep copies of the podcasts in Media Player and the older ones are on my other mp3 player as well. Thusfar, I haven't lost any.
