Me for one. LoL I get canker sores. Although it could be the fact that it comes from a can and is processed that irritates my body but orange juice does the same thing. I think you are right though some candida diets include tomatoes and may got confused with many other articles on the subject of tomatoes. such as under a lot of the alternative medicine links you will find they discourage " night shade " vegetables for people with severe health problems (those are potatoes, eggplant, tomatoes, and even bell peppers). Also, if you are A type blood the diet will say to avoid these particular ones. It's an individual choice. For instance, I do fine with brown rice and some can't tolerate at all. There is also articles out there that say tomatoes are a fruit and should never be eaten cooked. I think when I can start introducing back foods I will probably only eat tomatoes raw because I think that is what will work best for me.
