Guest guest
To make a long story short my father had been diagnosed with what was thought to be Parkinson's disease. The most obvious symptoms started in 2007. His path followed Parkinson's with ridigity of the limbs, extreme difficulty swallowing, frozen speech, anxiety and fuzzy thinking. (When he was admitted in July they inserted a feeding tube in his stomach because at that point he really couldn't eat anymore, and now not at all it's straight feeding tube) It was in July of this year that he acquired asperation pneumonia they gave him Rosephine we noticed him improve dramtically over the next 24 hrs. He was about 30-40% better which was encouraging since we had not seen that type of improvement since he had gotten sick. However it didn't last he was put on clyndamyican for 10 days for the pneumonia. When the antibiotics stopped he declined rapidly, he was also severly mistreated at the facility he was in, they refused to treat him with antibiotics. After a couple of weeks there we were able to get him transferred to a better nursing home. My brother's boss is a very wealthy man and he has lymes, he had seen doctors from all over the world and the one that had the best success was Dr. Hoffman in Waupaca,WI. We got him in to see Dr. Hoffman and he put my Dad back on Clyndamyican. He started to get better. But he longed to be stronger like he was(before this started my Dad could run circles around most 20yr olds he's 76)so he chose to get a picc line and Rosephine was started. He started to decline again, so they started rotating clynda and rosphine. He still declined. He started losing his balance and has fallen multiple times. The thought at this point that it may have gone too far before we were able to treat it. Advanced lymes with neurological symptoms such as his are in the very advanced stages. If anyone can help please let me know a.s.a.p!! I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY FATHER!!! He is a Marine and not a quitter so he is not giving up. But I think his body is. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
