HI Kathy, et al,

My kids are taking Azithromyacin and Bactrum and I noticed that their teeth

are yellowing. Have you heard of these two meds causing yellowing and is it

permanent. My 4 year old isn't loosing teeth yet but my 7 year old has 4 or

5 permanent teeth coming in.

I am a dental hygienist. Any cycline only affects children as permanent

teeth are forming. As mentioned a good electric brush and professional

cleanings will help. Ask the hygienist for a little prophy paste to use at

home. No scrubbing!! careful of the gum tissue.
