Guest guest Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 There is an infectious disease specialist, Dr. W., in Monterey, CA who treats only with IV Rocephin. He used to be located in land. He treats by daily infusions for 24 to 72 days and claims his patients don't herx and all get well. He disagrees with what the other, well-known specialists are doing as far as giving long-term oral antibiotics. He gives no oral antibiotics and doesn't think you need to treat co-infections in order to get well. This is very unconventional. If anyone knows who I'm talking about, please contact me. I need to decide whether to take a chance on his treatments right now (already took oral antibiotics for two years, and my doctor just moved away). I was told by the lab tech at Quest Diagnostics that his patients rave about him (in a good way). She told me a story about one woman who was misdiagnosed for 20 years until she went to see him. Since then, she has done a " 180 " and her husband claims she is a different woman now. Thanks in advance for any info you might have.
