I see this as something to do with the upcoming IOM report on the state of

the science on lyme. The IDSA mag Infectious Disease is published in Chicago.

Advanced PR for the report ?? Hope I am wrong but the report will probably be

negative for us.

We are in a WAR but all the casualties are on our side. I am too old to take

up arms and my rifle has been stolen. Bob

Bob. we are never too old to take up arms...and we must continue to fight for

all the new people especially children each and every day.  Take a mini break

and send a letter to your State's county health departments or write a comment

here or organize a fund raiser for those too ill to move...Each one of us can

because of publicity that Under Our Skin is going to be shown nationally on PBS

Tina, that was a brilliantly written response. Lengthy as it is, I hope the

editors and the two so-called journalists who wrote that poorly researched piece

take the time to read your response from beginning to end. I love how your

points are repeated throughout. If any of the people over at the Chicago Tribune

have one one-hundreth of the brain fog Lyme patients experience daily, your

piece should leave them with no doubt about the IDSA's role in preventing proper

diagnosis and treatment. Well done!!

There was clearly a lot of dirt dug up for this article, they must have had help

in the form of background info and leads from a Lyme insider. Why was this

published in Chicago? My husband's theory is the meat packing industry

lobbyists are deflecting the spotlight since the poultry, beef and pork

industries are the true abusers of antibiotics.

released by year end. That is all I used for my conjecture plus the fact that
