Hi,

I too have hormone probs and I am only 27..it is quite common.Tried

supplements to help it for a year with no relief,as of now I'm on the

Mepron, and Cortef for the hormone problem...the downfall of Mepron is it

can give you increased mental oddities and depression, which aren't the best

things to happen when all this is going on!

There is a product called Artemisinin(sp) that some docs use primarily for

babs with less side effects.

Hi there,

I have found that it's really important for me to distinguish between hormonal

flashes and lyme/babesia fevers and flushing/flashing... which can actually feel

pretty similar. I remember when I went through menopause early the hot flashes

felt like a sudden heat wave had taken over my being and it was almost

unbearable... it was from the inside out, very sudden and I felt like I had

absolutely no control. I had to go outside in the winter to cool down, which

anyone who knows me well, would laugh at, because I have always had low thyroid

and was cold all the time.

Babesia, on the other hand, is a whole different deal. I've found that I can

have body or brain (or both) fevers and sweats that can go on for hours and

days... they can be vary intensity and generally go on and on... much different

than the hot flashes. I've just started Artemesia 2 by Dr. Zhang... the tx

protocol is 2 or 3 capsules 1x/week to kill babesia and keep it under control.

I know this is different than what it says on the bottle - it's a combo of

Zhang's artemesia and Klinghardts protocol. A friend whose babesia is much

better, swears by it.

Good luck, Cindi
