Guest guest Posted October 6, 2009 Report Share Posted October 6, 2009 Hi Hali, My 6-y.o. son is 8 days post T & A, and he was up most of the night last night complaining of head pain and an earache. He was in so much pain - really inconsolable for most of it. Our ENT said that it is normal referred pain from the tonsil site, but if your daughter's pain persists, I would probably check with your doc to be sure. Last night was scary and long - definitely the worst we've had since the surgery. The first 5 days were a breeze, then things started going downhill on day 5. Guest guest Posted October 6, 2009 Report Share Posted October 6, 2009 Beth.... Thanks for the info. Same thing happened to us. Things got real bad towards the end again. I wish you luck! And pray that your son gets better quickly.. We also had a really hard time during the entire recovery! One of the parents on her said its like a switch goes off, when they start feeling better. Well that seems to be what happened with my daughter. Its day 12 after T & A and shes doing a lot better. Days 1,2,8 and 9 were the worst!
