Guest guest
if you mean quest the lab, i don't know if anyone would recommend them as their false negative rate is so high, you'd be better going through www.igenex.com On Sun, Jun 6, 2010 at 6:14 PM, ptm82379 <ptm82379@...> wrote: > > > What Quest tests do you guys recommend for lyme and coinfections. > > PCR? > reflex to titer? > urinary? > > There are alot > > >
Guest guest
Q-Rib Test, it is not available and I don't think insurance pays for it, it costs about $250, but will let you know if you have lyme or the other co-infections. Be well. ________________________________ From: ptm82379 <ptm82379@...> Sent: Sun, June 6, 2010 9:14:45 PM Subject: [ ] Quest testing for lyme and coinfections  What Quest tests do you guys recommend for lyme and coinfections. Guest guest
I have a CDC postitive result from Quest and a bunch of Indeterminates from Igenex....because I was on abx 9 months when I took the Igenex test. Sometimes if you take doxycycline for 2 weeks if you have had lyme in your system a long time you will test postitive for antibodies at Quest or Lab Corp....a minimum co-pay is a lot better than the fees charged by Igenex. There are many labs out there and some others are even paid for by insurance. I would start with those and proceed on if I did not get a positive. > > > What Quest tests do you guys recommend for lyme and coinfections. > > PCR? > reflex to titer? > urinary? > > There are alot > > >

Guest guest
I used it, a big fat negative. Igenex says some positive bands and some indeterminate. I am sticking with Igenex. Love and prayers, Heidi N How does Central Florida Research's testing stack up?
