I had it done 3 weeks ago and although i was scared stiff, it was absolutely

nothing. The drugs they gave me were wonderful, wish i had some for home, and i

dont remember a thing about it except my doc sayin, im not going to do anything

until you are asleep and then i faded out and woke up with no pain, no weird

feeling in my throat. He gave me pics of my ulcer and hernia and the little

bubbles which were gastritis. My anxiety was for nothing .

I also put it off for about amonth but once i got the confirmation of what it

was i was glad i did it for peace of mind.

Wish you all the best and bite the bullet and just do it. The rewards in the

end for peace of mind were well worth my ridiculous anxiety.

==>H. pylori is caused by low stomach acid. Do a search of our

archives where I listed the 4 herbs in the capsule I took last time I

had ulcers - Bismuth was one herb; another one was DGL (licorice) but

I do not recall the other two; it is from Thorne. CO will help you,

but you should probably do the 9 day program recommended in my

Article, which is clear water enemas twice a day plus pured foods; I

believe it's towards the end of the article, and it is also in the

Digestion Folder.

I have had H. Pylori 3 times; the first time I was on the triple AB pack and got the requisite truly horrible yeast infection. The H. Pylori went away, but came back again a year later. This time I talked to a Chiro I know and he put me on natural substances from SP & Biotics and I used these products the 2nd and third time I had H. Pylori and that was several years ago and I haven't had a recurrence since. I prefer the natural treatments because it took care of the H. Pylori and NO yeast infection! C.

How did you know when you had reoccurances

of H.pylori. I have had that they tried me on the antibiotic treatment, but I couldn’t

take it, I kept getting UTI’s.

Antibiotic treatment for h.pylori is not inherently " bad " . MD's

just don't know how to use it properly.

Once the infection is cleared up the patient has to start a good

full spectrum probiotic treatment to replace the lost good

microflora.

H.Pylori is an opportunistic infection. When the person's immune

system is weak, their internal flora has had some kind of long term

die off.

The patient in this situation starts getting opportunistic

infections such as h.pyloir, acid reflux, UTI's, yeast infection etc.

I know of one person who treated it with oil of oregano too.Oil of oregano is very potent though, and you have to knowwhat you are doing (not to take too much, and dilute it well).I kind of suspect eating lots of oregano is protective against

a lot of stuff. If not, it still tastes awfully good, esp. if you getthe " Mexican oregano " .-- On 2/27/07,

Sorry for the blank e-mail (my wireless keyboard and mouse oft not have a mind all their own).

As a suggestion, it might be good for everyone to go back through their medical records. The only way to test for H. Pylori is via tissue sample biopsy during endoscopy. If I understand correctly, it *should* be standard procedure. For those who have yet to have endoscopy exams, it would be good to remember to ask, ensuring that one is done.

Just a thought,

Peg

There are various tests for H Pylori. If anyone is interested, please click on the link below.

Helicobacter pylori Tests

Both and Peg are correct.

As had indicated there are less invasive tests available.

I have used Qwest labs. There is a drop in location just off I-5 near 217. They will accept cash payments at time of service if you request the test.

Hi :

It kills me that so many people are suffering from H. Pylori, esp. in the form

of acid reflux, when the eradication of those little buggers is easy. Mainstream

medicine doesn't seem to have heard of it. I learned of it from a video

concerning gastric disorders made by a brilliant naturopath,Dr. Steve Hines.

The product is Gum Mastic, or sometimes called Mastica. It's a natural resin

that comes from trees on an island in Greece, and nowhere else in the world

apparently. The brand I've been taking is NutriCology that I odered on the

internet from Swanson. There are other brands, but I can personally recommend

this one.

I must have had Pynori infestation most of my life, because I had a stomach

ulcer around age 30. Also I'd had chronic post-nasal drip, chronic tender places

in the mouth, chronic sore throat, chronic productive cough, chronic soreness in

the kidney area, chronic vaginal discharge. I never equated all these things,

or thought they pointed to a common cause. Apparently I had H. Pylori from top

to toe.

The Gum Mastic cleared ALL of them up! It's hard to believe. I've taken two

bottles (120 caps) and am working on a third. After that, I'll give it a rest.

It's recommended that you take the initial dosage, then hit it again every six

months or a year, to knock out any lingerers. I don't know the life cycle of the

Pylori spirochetes, but something like that.

You have so many things causing you pain, please consider trying a cycle of Gum

Mastic. There are no side effects. You will probably be completely astonished by

the results.

Good luck with it,

Lou, another Lymie
