Guest guest
Geri They biopsied me too during the endoscopy-but I was negative for H-Pylori. But I did have a yeast infection-that was why I was so nauseated and sick! Susie
Guest guest
Dear Geri: When I first started having problems about a year prior to getting really sick with AIH, I was tested and found positive for H. Pylori. I went through the 2 antibiotic along with pepto bismal treatment that lasted a couple of weeks. The combination of the tetracycline (sp) and the bismuth in the pepto bismal, caused my teeth to stain and I had to get them 'deep cleaned' to remove the stains (not fun!) I was tested for it again recently (blood test) and it came up negative. I don't know whether or not I'll be tested for it again with the endoscopy. Guest guest
Hi Geri, I know people who've been tested for helicobacter pylori when ulcers or unexplained stomach pain occured (sometimes in people who think they have food allergies). I thought it was a pretty common test. I never asked but no one ever mentioned that they were biopsied in order to test for it. There's loads of info if you search under the full name. I haven't been motivated to read up on it. Guest guest
Dear Lynn, Dump the antibiotics. They will give you other problems that are much worse than helicobacter pylori. Try H2O2 drops. Start at 1 drop per day in water, then increase one drop each day, till you are at 25 drops per day, by the 25th day. If the nausea doesn't get you, this should work. If it doesn't, you might have to go to ozonated water, which is stronger, and less problem to drink, but more expensive in the short run. Best of Health! Guest guest
Dear Suzanne, Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that lives in the stomach, surviving the hydrochloric acid. It can chew on the wall of the stomach, and then the hydrochloric acid will start to burn a hole. This is the cause of ulcers. Best of Health! Guest guest
MSO is " Magnetizer Stabilized Oxygen " . It is a solution containing various salts, reach in oxygen (not just sodium chlorite). The group claims it is utterly safe, and since they conduct scientific study, and offer treatments that seem to work consistently, I do have a tendency to believe them. H2O2 contains a " redundant " atom of oxygen, that is very loosely tied to the other oxygen atom, and so it is released with very little " convincing " . It can almost be considered as a free radical of oxygen, which will attack and combine with every material that has any affinity to it. Magnetizer claim that with their secret formula of salts, the oxygen is release only in cells that need it, not in the bloodstream or extra-cellular fluid, nor in the stomach, where free oxygen can cause damage. Ozonated water are water with ozone molecules dissolved in them - just as air - oxygen and nitrogen, and CO2, dissolve in water. Ozone also let go of its " redundant " oxygen atom very easily, and also may combine with various materials in the stomach juices, blood, or extra-cellular fluids, with potentially harmful results. I asked the Magnetizer company what they think of Dr. Pressman opinion, that their product is unsafe. When the answer come, I'll forward it/ Ronen. new member needs help > > > > > > > > > > Hi , > > > > My name is Lynn ,I am 45 yrs old and have been diagnosed with h-pylori > > > > I have taken 2 rounds of antibitotics and am looking for other methods > > > > of curing myself and making myself fell better,if anyone has any > > > > suggestions I would appreciate the words of wisdom! Guest guest
Ronen, Of course they will say it is safe, because they are selling it. It doesn't really make any difference what the company says about safety, if their product contains any sodium chlorite, it is unsafe to use because chlorine will be released and that IS unsafe. This thing about sodium chlorite being safe or not was very well discussed on the oxylist 2 years ago in an argument between Dr. Friebott and an unknown, alleged chemistry professor. IMO, Dr. Friebott's argument was sounder, but even if one disagrees, it is safer to err on the side that has no risk of releasing free chlorine, which is always harmful to the body. There are other ways to oxygenate the body that have been proven safe in over 100 years of use worldwide: ozone & H2O2. And, what you say about the possible harm of a free atom of oxygen indicates to me that you don't understand what a free radical is, or the difference between a radical & a scavenger. They are BOTH oxygen singlets. A radical is positively charged & a scavenger is negatively charged. The oxygen released from ozone & H2O2 is negatively charged, so is not a radical. And, telling Saul what ozone will or may do is like teaching your grandmother to suck eggs. ;-) jim Ronen wrote: > > MSO is " Magnetizer Stabilized Oxygen " . Guest guest
Dear Lynn, Try your health food store for 35% food grade H2O2. Then dilute it 11:1, so it is about 3%. Then start with one drop per day in water, and work your way up. Making ozonated water is a different proposition, because it requires an ozone generator, oxygen tank and regulator, and that is a chunk of money. Try the H2O2 first, because it is cheap, and see if you get a good result. If not, you can think about ozone later. Best of Health! Guest guest
Saul, I believe you made a minor mistake in that one doesn't need to dilute 35% food grade peroxide before adding it to water for drinking. Am I mistaken? jim Saul Pressman wrote: > > Dear Lynn, > > Try your health food store for 35% food grade H2O2. Then dilute it > 11:1, so it is about 3%. Guest guest
Dear Jim, Oh yeah, that's right. I am used to diluting for use on surfaces for cleaning, and mouth wash etc, so I wrote on 'automatic pilot'. But you are right of course. The 35% H2O2 is added to water full strength, starting at one drop per day. Best of Health! Guest guest
Dear Saul and Lynn, My experience with H2O2 use for 5 months 2 times 5 drops a day resulted in a feeling of an aging heart. It really felt as if my heart was getting worn out. As I understand H2O2 has a strong free-radical effect. Now I take Homozon for 6 months and it does me so much better, I don't even take anti-oxidants. I've read somewhere that Ozon - which is by a proprietary process bonded in the Homozon - actually is even a free-radical scavanger. Maybe others of this list can give more explanation on the why of this difference. Regards Doedens Saul Pressman wrote: > Dear Lynn, > > Try your health food store for 35% food grade H2O2. Guest guest
Christel, Shirley from Eagle Enterprises is a listmember. She sells H2O2 in bulk. The reason is that is what UPS charges to ship it. You can't get out of paying it unless you can find a local bulk supplier. Some listmembers have found it locally for greenhouse use & other industrial purposes, but they bought it by the drum. If you find a 4 oz bottle at a local HFS, it will cost about $8.00! You are paying a share of that shipping. When you buy in bulk, you spread that charge over a greater quantity & it becomes more cost effective. But, only if you want a lot. Just to give it a try, check out more health fod stores. jim Christelti@... wrote: > > In a message dated 12/07/2000 1:12:31 PM Eastern Standard Time, > saul@... writes: > > << Try your health food store for 35% food grade H2O2. >> > I have tried every healthfood store in Ft Lauderdale, nobody carries this. > And the website I found charges a $20.00 HAZMAT charge to ship it,. > Can anyone advise where to get it without that additional charge? > Thank you, Christel > ----- carpe diem, carpe pecunia, carpe femina. -- Jim Lambert jlambert@... http://www.entrance.to/madscience http://www.entrance.to/poetry
