Guest guest
I have not taken cholestyramine, but this is what I have seen in posts. About 2/3's of the people who take it love it, and about 1/3 get so sick from it that they say they can not tolerate it and stop taking it. I have no idea why some people can't handle it. Since it affects cholesterol, maybe they are already low in cholesterol? I don't know, but just sharing that lots of people on the Lyme forums have taken it, so you can search to find various posts. Love and prayers, Heidi N ***********Just make sure you take the cholestyramine that has NO Aspartame....When YOu doctor writes the script, have him write on the script " Pt allergic to Aspartame and artificial chemical sweeteners " ... **********PLUS, Plaxil, prozac and other antidepressants also contain Aspartame....go figure???????????
