Hey gang:

I was diagnosed by my LLMD back in 2002, after being sick (and misdiagnosed)

for most of 5 years. We did about 4 months of Rocephin, at which time I was

nearly symptom free and felt almost like myself again. As the years have gone

on, I've had flare-ups that have come faster and faster, and been harder and

harder to treat. I started one this week that is far worse than anything up to

this point (lots more neuro symptoms than the others), and am dreading the

thought of going back to the doc again. He's been loathe to put me back on

Rocephin or related drugs because, well, quite frankly, 4 months of Rocephin

trashed my liver. He's been hinting at trying Invance, and that he's had pretty

good results with it. I've also had good results with Flagyl, and most recently

Levaquin. I had to stop the Levaquin though because of tendon issues (the doc

warned me that might happen with prolonged use).

Sorry for the rant. I'd be real interested in hearing some opinions. I hope

everyone has a great weekend.

Best regards,

Dave S.
