Guest guest
I was diagnosed with Lyme disease 2 months ago. My PCP got the positive results through blood work. He prescribed me with antibiotics and sent me to see different specialists for the other complications I was having. I have been seeing a neuroligist for spinal swelling and abnormal fluid, a pulmonologist for ground glass in my lung, a hemotologist for swollen lymph nodes and a gastrologist for liver abnormalties. They all say they do not know whats wrong with me. I had a Spinal tap done and they said it came back negative for lyme. Is it possible that this test was wrong? I read online that some times these test give false negatives. I know nothing about lyme disease and it seems as though all these doctors just pretty much written me off. I am taking antibiotics and steriods and have no idea why. My symptoms have subsided some but not fully gone away. Is is it possible I dont have lyme disease. I am so confused and in pain. I need help.
