Eva Sapi at UNH researches it. You might see some of her abstracts posted

among ILADS info.

My doctor says that the current favored supplement on this front is

lumbrokinase, which he has begun to put his patients on (including me).

I had a pretty good herx the first week I was on it.

Supplements like Wobenzym have helped me clear toxins and reduce inflammation

really well but it was also Lumbrokinase that was best at busting biofilms. It

brought the bugs in my brain out in droves. Felt like I was going mad.

Dr. K also uses a supplement thats supposed to be even better than Lumbrokinase

called Interfase. I will be starting it soon.

I am currently taking the following for lyme biofilm: xylitol 1tsp. am and pm

(no food), heparin, boluke (4 a day, very expensive and does anyone know a more

reasonable way to purchase), biotonic 3 a day, and neem.

I also use biotene pbf mouthwash 2x a day.

I want to give an early update on using the pulsed ultrasound. I'm not sure i am

even up to typing so bear with me.

I started using it on myself on close to the most intense setting for ten

minutes at a time on several different chronic and still painful areas. When i

got to my neck small amounts of some kind of slightly grainy, sour tasting

liquid came out of my glands and into my mouth and throat. it made me cough but

I kept it up daily for three or four days. I woke up yesterday am with less foot

pain than i have had in ages. But by afternoon I was running a fever and

chilled. By evening i was alternating horrible chills with violent vomiting.

The vomiting turned to dry heaves pretty quickly and then continued about every

half hour all night, I kept some water down about a half an hour ago but I don't

think it has ended. After I vomited I would get cold sweats and then be able to

sleep for about fifteen minutes until the generalized pain, chills, shaking,

agitation, and vomiting would start over again.

This is the most intense herxheimer i have ever experienced, at least in terms

of the vomiting. joints that I thought were mostly improved, like my shoulder,

have become inflamed and very painful. bad night, and i am starting to develop

diarrhea too.

Sara; I have had very similar " movies " playing out in my brain; I know I am not

dreaming, still awake and can hear things around me but flashes, images which I

thought were " memories " but of people I have never met, memories of things I

have never done and places I have never been.......and the brightest colors I

have ever seen, tunnels, too....WEIRD, huh? I figured it was the CNS Lyme; you

know, spirochetes playing around in my brain, making me go mad. I am not on any

of the meds that you are on...interesting. and if somebody doesn't mind

explaining to me-I have no idea what biofilm disruption is and what lumbrokinase

is. thanks, robin

Den,

iherb doesn't have the Boluoke brand, but other lumbrokinase products are

available. Boluoke has 20mg lumbrokinase. Be sure to check the others for their

potency: http://www.iherb.com/Search?kw=Lumbrokinase

If you're new to iherb save $5 with code COT477
