Guest guest
Just seems like there are way to many families out there with multiple members who are infected for it to be coincidence that they were all bitten by an infected tick. My daughter recently tested positive for LD and I have had it for years. We do not remember her getting bit by a tick. I think we caught hers earlier than mine so we are hopeful, additionally children supposedly heal quicker than adults with equal infection. But all information that i could find online states definitively that " Lyme disease is not contagious " but that really depends on how you define contagious. So using the same precautions as when someone has a " cold " would probable be wise considering the parasites could be in any body fluid in my opinion , especially pre-antibiotic treatment and early on with the infection when you have the flu-like symptoms seems a likely time for transmitting the bugs. Anyway, the incidence rate seems unlikely high to me to just be coincidence so it is worth being cognizant of it at the very least for the rest of your families sake. But then again maybe im wrong. good luck all
