Margh,

I have never heard of Tre-Nev Trio. I would suggest you stick with

more well known probiotics that others can recommend that work.

That's why support groups like this are so good because we can

compare notes. I can't recommend enough that people get on a

probiotic containing Saccharomyces Boulardii. It has been used in

Europe for many decades and in German hospitals they routinally

administer S. Boulardii to every patient given antibiotics. That may

be why America seems to have more problems with C. Difficile. You

can buy S. Boulardii separately and take it along with other

probiotics or get everything combined into one as in Primal Defense.

When I first got C. Difficile I was working in the NICU. Prime place

to pick up the bug. My GP didn't figure out what it was so put me on

diphenoxylate to stop the diarrhea. It stopped the diarrhea but I

had severe stomach pain because the C. Difficile was being retained

in the gut. Shortly after that I was put on Zithro for

bronchitis/sinus infection and flared it again. A month later I saw

the LLMD and was diagnosed with Lyme. I was put on 30 days of Zithro

and 2nd week into it the C. Difficile flaired which the LLMD figured

out what was going on. I was put on Flagyl for a week then went back

on Zithro along with Flagyl. Since Flagyl does not allow spirochetes

to go into cyst form and hide from the antibiotics then it is good

to take for two reasons. Months later I started on a diff abx

because the Zithro was too expensive at the time and Clindamyacin

flaired the C. Difficile. Clindamyacin is notorious for causing it.

So had to stop abx for 3 wks and go on straight Flagyl till it

cleared up.

It's been like a roller coaster ride for me, but I know I need to

keep at the abx to get well from Lyme. As for naturopaths one has to

be careful. They aren't highly regulated and a number of naturos are

currently being investigated for killing or harming patients. There

are two I know of in my state alone. The one I started going to I am

getting leary of. My GP shared her concern over some of the things

the naturo has been doing to me. I did some reading and now

understand her concern. I also angered this naturo because I rattled

off info about thyroid medications and interactions he had no clue

about. So he has been misinforming his patients for years. His

assistant also preaches the way to remove ticks is with a lighted

match. I had to set her straight on that one! You really have to

watch out for yourself at all times; some of these drs are plain

scary. Be cautious of unlabeled herbs from naturos as well as brands

you have never heard of. There was a naturo in TN recently busted

for his fake herbs he was charging $7000 a pkg for claiming he was

importing these magical herbs from Indonesia or somewhere like that.

Trenev Trio is very well known - made by Natren. It is expensive in

my opinion. I have my thoughts on probiotics and the list of those

I take while on ABX for Lyme on my Probiotics page at

www.BetterHealthGuy.com. Best,

Hi there,

It is possible to take too much probiotic but it's not going to hurt

you nor really help in the long run. Going back to Bee's article, " How

to Successfully Overcome Candida " almost always answers any question.

Here is info regarding Probiotics.

" Probiotic Dosages – Start with 1 billion units 3 times a day (or

less), with or without food, and gradually increase it to a total of

10 billion units per day in split doses. It will not hurt you to take

more, but taking excessive amounts is a waste of money and it will not

speed up the process of implantation. "

hope that helps,

jackie

Thanks or the reply. I was thinking of simply doing the cabbage

rejuvelac in addition to small amount of kefir.

I've done a lot of cleaning out these last 2 months and think it's

time to repopulate.

A lot of my symptoms are gone. I've been on no carb no fruit no

sweet for 2 months while doing " humaworm " cleanse, 1g olive leaf

extract 3x a day and recently started a course of sf-722, a castor

oil extract.

I finally feel like i have control of my life back. You don't

realize how much damage candida can do until it stsops doing all that

it was doing.

itchy scalp, dandruff, itchy anus, mood impairment, digestive

impairment, liver impairment, skin problems. Such a relief to be

free of these.

hi Iam happy you are finally rid of candida! Iam still suffering

from all those symptoms you have mentioned and more! Can you please go

into detail and tell me what herbs you took ? How long did you take

each one? Did you rotate them every four days and what exactly is a

humaworm cleanse? How does it work ? How long and often did you do

this? Also do colonics work or do they just cause lots of infections?

Have they helped you? I really appreciate your help! You can write me

at my personal email ehendale730 @ . com Thanks! Beth

Hi there,

It would be best to keep any further conversation about these herbs

and cleanses private since they are not recommended on this program.

thanks.
