My Dr is closing her practice

My wonderful DR, who has Lyme herself, is closing her practice. I knew she was

considering it but had no idea it would be so soon. She will not see anyone past

tomorrow. I feel so sad and have been crying like a baby. She is the first DR

who figured out what was wrong with me in 20 yrs. She is such a great hearted

person who really wants to help people so I know she has to feel really sick to

close up. She is my favorite DR I have ever had. She is so like me and the woman

in my family. I will miss her. I rarely meet people I would like to be friends

with too and she is one of those people who I would love to have as a friend.

Does anyone know of any other LLMDs in the Dallas area? Please email me.

She is refering all her patients to another Dr but it is probably based on our

side of town and I have no idea if he treats Lyme.

So sorry to hear this. I know exactly what you are saying about how rare it

is to find someone like her. Ask her about whether the referral is specific

to lyme or location. If not specific to lyme, ask if she can refer you to

one...
