How do >you know? Tnaks for your reply. -- Lida Lida, I have been using Sunrider Chinese Herbs for 10 years and have been off antibiotics for that length of time. After numerous courses of oral and intravenous antibiotics, and only getting temporary relief over a five year period, a friend of mine found out about these herbs on a trip California while visiting her cousin, and knowing how sick we were, she suggested we try it. My whole family had Lyme, not just me, and at this point, we were at our worst - kids out of school, on home instruction, my daughter was in a hospital bed in my family room on an i.v. 24 hour pump of ampercillin and only getting weaker. I had no strength to take care of her, not only having Lyme, but EBV as well. After making an herbal fruit smoothy with Nuplus, as my friend taught me to, I felt a little better and had more energy. Nuplus is many lbs. of food based herbs picked from the best parts of the world condensed into a one pound container. The long and the short of it is that I continued on Nuplus and began to give it to my daughter and the rest of my family and before I knew it, she was back in school and looking healthy. There are other parts to the Sunrider plan in addition to the Nuplus that have helped us regain our health. It is based on the theory of regeneration from Ancient China, that if the body receives proper nourishment, it will heal itself. It has given us back our lives and I try to help others as my friend helped me - sort of pay it forward. If you want more info, please feel free to e-mail me privately, or send me your phone number and I can call you at your convenience, Take care, Sue > Sue Rauch

You may find it interesting and educational. Nuplus is not mentioned. A very noteworthy fact: There is NO LYME in China. My understanding is that Chinese herbal medicine treats symptoms in general to support the weakend organs that borrow each others chi if stressed. Diagnosing the disease is done by pulse reading, which only a highly trained Chinese doctors are good at.Thank you for sharing your story. You must have been through a lot as you say you've been initially treated the standard way. How long alltogether have you been on abx? Were you treated too late and that is why you did not respond? I am glad your whole family is well now. Sounds like a miracle! == Lida > > > In a message dated 12/28/2005 4:40:50 PM, lidunkap@y... writes: > > >Sue -- What Chinese herbs have helped to keep you Lyme Free? How do > >you know? Were you treated too late and that is why you did not >respond? I am glad your whole family is well now. Sounds like a >miracle! == Lida Dear , The Chinese for the most part don't believe in " disease " but rather " imbalance. " When the body is out of balance it becomes weak and doesn't function properly. What I have learned from my Sunrider seminars and classes is that we need to get the word " disease " out of our vocabulary and focus on " wellness thinking. " It sounds weird, I know, but it works. Whether China has Lyme is not important because everyone has the same organs and five systems, with different imbalances, which makes each and every person have individual health challenges. The reason that Nuplus isn't mentioned is because it isn't a medicinal herbal supplement sold in health food stores, but is a food based herbal supplement, made only by Sunrider International. If people haven't heard about Sunrider, they won't know Nuplus, even though the company is in 36 countries and has been in business for over 20 years. Nuplus is the most important part of the Sunrider plan, and rebuilds the body. You can read about it on my Sunrider website, my.sunrider.com/susanrauch. As far as our medical history, Lyme was probably lying dormant in our systems for a number of years because we never saw a bullseye rash, nor do we remember seeing a tick bite on any of us. I had a very bad mosquito bite prior to getting sick, and now they say Lyme can be transmitted other ways. I was always suspicious of that mosquito. Anyway, we went through a very stressful time in my family in 1989, when my husband became very sick with undiagnosed Lyme and was hospitalized with encephalitis, which then became diagnosed as depression (wrong diagnosis), and my father had a stroke and died while my husband was in the hospital. My children had chicken pox (very bad cases) around this time as well. I had a broken foot and was walking with a cane. We were one sad group, coping with one thing after another. As they say, " what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. " Then symptoms started surfacing in my children, which one pediatrician said " must be stress. " (i.e., muscle weakness, memory problems, neuro problems, migraines, limping) and they both came up high positive for Lyme and were both hospitalized at the same time in May, 1989. It was like we began to drop like flies. We did respond to the antibiotics and were well for months, only to become sick again. I was the last one to get sick six months later when I had Bells Palsy and flu symptoms, but came up positive for Lyme. I knew I had it for months prior, but kept on coming up negative. The I.V.'s really did the trick, but wasn't a permanent fix. I gained 80 lbs from all the meds and my sugar craving, probably causing systemic candida. After five years of this and getting tired of sleeping next to a hospital bed, I said " enough! " and began to explore alternative medicine, i.e., mega vitamins, a nutritionist, juicing, and it helped a little, but we still were not well. Then along came my friend Joan and she persuaded me to try it and the rest is history. It didn't happen over night, but it wasn't that long before we saw the light at the end of the tunnel. It's like having an arsenal of herbal food and teas to fight off any imbalance. I even gave it to my pets, and they lived very long lives. To me and my family and those I have introduced Sunrider Herbal Foods to, yes, it is the closest thing to a miracle that I have come across in my lifetime, but it is also necessary to shift our energy to believe that we are stronger and smarter than this disease and we can and will get well and get our lives back. Wishing you all good things in the coming year. Thank you for sending me the website. I will check it out. Sue Rauch Sue Rauch
