Guest guest Posted August 4, 2008 Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 Hi, I just had an EMG which showed inflamation of nerves in some muscles in lower leg. I will see the doctor in a week and will have many blood tests and other tests. I have a weak foot with small amount of numbness. I had redness and burning in same leg shin several years ago when the mold went real high and it went away in a few days. I attributed it to mold allergy (cladisporium) coming out full force. Now, until I have the tests, I am wondering if there is something I can do to invoke herx reaction of lyme if that is what I have. I am thinking salt and C. Would this invoke a herx reaction if I did that therapy for a few days? ALso, I think I have been having neurological symptoms for 20+ years during the humid part of the summer when cladisporum is very high. Is it possible a mold allergy could instigate lyme episode? I am thinking a dry climate without mold would be best for me since I always feel better in the desert whether I have lyme or not. I am thinking the doctor who did the tests thinks I have lyme.
