Some of these antibiotics taste pretty bad and it has been a chore trying to

find creative ways to hide the bad taste in meals. Anyone had success with this

with there own kids who are being treated for Lyme? Smoothies and shakes seem to

work pretty well but it is alot of work to do this every time abx have to be

taken. Amoxicillin is no problem but others (like bactrim) are chalky and taste

pretty bad. Anyway, just looking for recipes or ideas on how to get kids to

take the meds. thanks

I so understand what you are going through!!  The only thing that worked for me

was sunny d or mint chocolate chip ice cream.  Some of the meds my girls just

wouldn't get down no matter what - the best thing was when they were able to

swallow the pills - I feel for you and good luck!!

Diane :)
