Guest guest
We believe I acquired my Lyme and Co. from my mother before birth. My children got it the same way. I *have* had a tick that I know of for sure, BUT I was symptomatic for years before then. My son is the same way. We have pulled a tick off him, but it was about a week before we tested him and he came back IgM and IgG positive, both. They say that you won't be IgM positive for 3-6wks and IgG positive for months, so he was absolutely infected long before the one tick we did see. Less than 50% of Lyme patients recall a tick. Even fewer had the " classic bullseye rash " . Ticks can be as small as the period at the end of this sentence. They can VERY easily come...and go... without you ever knowing they were there. Chris You guys are all talking about how long the ticks was there etc. We never saw a tick. The redness was on my upper arm but no tick no bite mark just nothing. My arm was red and fading. Dr said I had cellulitis then ran a lyme antibody test and this is positive. I just don't understand. All of this is so different from you guys. Love you guys but I feel like an alien.
