re- LDN and contraindication with codeine headache tablets?

Hi All,

I am about to start LDN for my Ulcerative Colitis and chronic fatigue syndrome and have read where not to take too soon with codeine based tablets , is this right? I have been taking mersyndol ( australian brand) headache tablets they have 500mg paracetamol and 9.6 mg of codeine do you think if I stop within 24 hrs of using LDN that it would be safe enough?

Depends on your history with those.  Have you been taking them daily, several a day or a long period of time?  If so you might have a withdrawal effect.  If you only take them as needed and infrequently a 24 hr window since the last one " should " be fine.  After my last surgery I gave myself 24 - 48 hrs between pain pills and restarting my LDN.
