I have the leg pain (off and on) and no it is not restless legs. It is pain that

wakes me in the middle of the night. My LLP (LymeLiterateProvider who is a

bright nurse practitioner) suggested KICK creme. It will need to be made in a

compounding pharmacy. Here is the name of the pharmacy that compounds it for me.

You can call for exact ingredients but I think it includes: Ketoprofen,

Ketamine, Clonipin, and another anti-inflam. Hope it helps.

Subject: [ ] does Babesia go away on its own?

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2009, 7:24 PM

I recently moved back home to Lyme and had to start (all over)

with new doctors and of course with that, getting re-diagnosed all over again.

My new dr. is not convinced that the debilitating pain I have in my limbs could

be caused by Lyme; he wants me to have a lumbar puncture, but I heard they are

not all that reliable and therefore, cannot rule out Lyme; I am seronegative but

have been bitten many, many times (growing up in Lyme) and have been clinically

diagnosed by several doctors; this new dr. is re-opening the M.S. possibility; I

did test positive for Babesia and he said Babesia is no big deal and goes away

on its own. He is very confident that because he is located in lyme and has

seen so many cases that he is lyme literate but anybody that minimizes the pain

of Lyme cannot be. Does anybody else out there have such limb pain where you

almost want to cut off your legs? Is anyone out there requiring strong

(narcotic) pain

meds? Appreciate any input, thanks
