Those with MS are suggested to start with a lower dose and work themselves slowly up to the optimal dose. Very many MS patients are using 3.0mg but also 4.5 mg which is considered the optimal dose for many auto immune diseases.If you want, you could start slow just to feel what dose is right for you, and use some weeks on each stages. Anyway, everytime you're increasing your dose, you will find yourself getting a night with vivid dreams. These dreams could of course be all from funny to a bit scary. Don't hesitate to use LDN because of the dreams, there are so many people being afraid of the dreams that 20 % is having when increasing the dose. Personally I don't understand, I had big time when I increased my dose;-)Anyway, I have tried different doses,I

have found out that the best dose for me NOW is 3.0 mg. Take the dose at the exact same time every night, I think it's the best, and you'll have the best results. Some of us can't take night doses, because LDN may sometimes keep people awake every night, and taking melatonin may not help them. If you're one, consider to change to morning doses. The funny thing is that many of us have done a few experiments with LDN, and, a few of us just need to take may be 3.0 mg every other night. There are so many solutions. Start slow, and increase slowly, or start at 3.0 mg and stop at 4.5 mg some weeks later. You could always adjust your dose. If you're impatient getting a result, start at 4.5 mg. Hi Suzanne, good question, we are all different and respond differently. I started at 4.5 without problems others have problems at 1.5.
